We visited Forks for my birthday in September and if you're planning a Twilight-themed trip, my biggest piece of advice is to check the hours of everything far in advance (especially if you're making the trek from out of state)! We just barely made it before closing, and they were so busy they actually added an extra group for the reservation, we got literally so lucky. This museum is clearly loved by the Twilight community and is honestly any fan's dream to see all of this in person. Came here with Jaric after a 3-hour commute from Olympia, and it was a bit underwhelming with the very little amount of items here. They only feature the wardrobe from the actual movie sets, which was presented in a way where it helped you remember which scene that they derived from. They also had that 60-pounds scary ahh animatronic "Chuckesme" doll that they got rid of after one feature lolol ... they even had the werewolf cardboard stand-in that they used to cgi over for Jacob and the other werewolves featured in the movies. Something that I thought was super neat was that they used white mannequins to signify human, and grey mannequins to represent the non-human characters. There truly is not much at this museum, but they worked with what they got and made the appearance still gave me in awe. In order to go here, u need to sign in for a 15-minute time slot with the staff person at the front of the location. Come by a couple of minutes before so that you could reserve a spot. They only let 10 people total per time slot, but it is free admission! There are also a bunch of filming locations nearby by walking distance that you can check out while you wait to go into this museum. They brief you on how it will work for your museum visit, but the staff was soooo sweet. Making sure that each visitor understood the history and significance of everything and everyone featured in this museum. Increases your appreciation for the art, even if you are not a fan of the franchise, like myself. Staff is so passionate about their job that you cannot help but want to learn more about it. The best part of our time in Forks was checking out the Forever Twilight collection. IMPORTANT: this is free, but you want to sign up for a tour ahead of time to be let in. Tours fill up by around 2pm. When we got there after 2pm, there were no spots left. Thankfully we were a small group and I asked about no-shows/being put on a waitlist. The woman at the front was really kind and did this for us. We waited in the area and were luckily let in. So be sure to go early to put your name down for a time if you want to go. The collection is in a small room, but PACKED with awesome Twilight stuff. We saw costumes, Twilight books from around the world, props, Chuckesmee!, and more. It was a Twilight fan's dream come true. There was a super fan inside to answer any questions we might have. The entire process was very easy. When it's your time to go in, you wait to be guided inside, then you are welcomed by the person in the collection that gives you a quick briefing. You have about 15 minutes inside to take all the pictures you want and enjoy all the items inside. While the 15 minutes flew by, I still felt like I really go to enjoy everything. This is the best part of Twilight stuff in Forks and I highly recommend visiting. read more

If you are a Twilight Fan and have an hour to spare, check out the wardrobe collection and set props from the Twilight movies that a Twilight fan donated. Although the Forks Chamber of Commerce allows only 20 minutes to see the collection , you do have to sign up in order for them to manage crowd control. When I was there in August, there was one tour ahead of us so we had to wait for their 20 minutes. At first I thought 20 minutes wouldn't be enough, but it's just enough time to see the clothes from the movies and some set pieces. It's FREE, what's the catch? Before you leave, there is an opportunity to donate, but there is no pressure. read more

Free! When I first looked into the dates we were going to be in forks I thought the museum was going to be closed so I sort of crossed it off my list. While at the visitor center I saw that they were open for a couple of hours during the week. I was confused by the admission tickets so I asked the visitor center cashier. She informed me that a half hour before opening time they setup in front of the collection outside the museum to sign you up for specific times. I want a half hour before and was able to get into the first time slot. They take about 10 people. At your time you get to go into the collection and they tell you a bit about it. Then you have about 10 or 15 minutes to take pictures, look around and ask questions. It was fun to see the outfits in person and brought back many highlights of the movie. read more

didn't get to go in because we didn't realize it was reservation only -- no problem, we should've done our research. since we drove all the way out though we were gonna glimpse through the window before leaving, but the lady working outside was immediately aggressive and rude towards us. she stepped right in front of us (we were at least fifteen feet away from the building) and sniped "can i help you? you can't be here." i said i wanted a closer look at the poster on the window and she said we weren't allowed to go any closer because we would 'disturb the people inside.' then she glared at us until we left. off-putting! read more

Make sure you show up before they open, they run out of space for admission because you have to sign up for your time slot prior to. If you show up later on then you will not be guaranteed a slot. At the front I was told that this is the only way it's done but no mention of this is put out anywhere else. This place is pretty cool. It has a collection of stuff from the twilight series movies! Definitely put your name on the list beforehand and in advance, especially around prime season! You can do that through their Chamber of Commerce website, which is also a place you should stop by because they give you a map of things around town to go check out! I went in July and I got in pretty quickly as a solo traveler. You can see everything and forks, including this place in a day. You won't need more than that. For a free attraction (if you are a twi-hard) then this is definitely worth a stop if you are visiting the PNW! It is just one small room, but you'll be impressed by just how much stuff they manage to pack into the space. Obviously, the highlight is seeing the one and only Chuckesme in all her glory! 5/5 for the museum. 1/5 for the wait. To be fair, we visited on the weekend of the twilight festival where somehow the weather was 90 degrees and the line to enter was long. Like a previous review mentioned, only 8 people are allowed in at a time with a maximum of 15 min per group. We ended up waiting 1 hour to enter. On to the museum. The museum is definitely 5/5 if you are a twilight fan. It is free and you can't beat free. The one lady inside, Gay, was great! She was helpful in answering questions and taking photos. They had a lot of props on display - mostly costumes, but small props were around too. They didn't have anything for sale and there were no restrooms. read more

Worst experience ever. We came from Denver to Seattle and drove to Forks for the day so my teenage daughters could visit the museum. I went to the website and their Facebook page and it said the hours were 2-4 Tuesdays and Wednesdays so we made the drive and got there at 3:00. When we arrived we were told they were at capacity and wouldn't let us in. The sweet girls working said she would call her boss to make an exception because she does sometimes, but to our disappointment she decided to break the heart of my 12 year old Twilight obsessed daughter and said no. It wasn't very busy and they easily could have just let her peek in, but decided not to. Pretty crappy way to treat people who travelled from really far to visit, and even checked hours before hand. read more

The collection was smaller than I expected but the tour guide was very energetic and knowledgeable so he made the experience pretty enjoyable. To be honest I never saw twilight so I cant really comment on how interesting the museum was, but my 16-year-old girlfriend had a great time! read more

This Twilight nostalgia is so cheesy ridiculous and PERFECT for any Twihards!! Megan and Mary were excellent hosts and I could just keep talking to Megan because of all her knowledge and fun stories. This is a free gem and if you loved the books and films, then definitely go. The ladies at the visitor center were excellent too and gave us a wealth of information for our fun Twilight romp through Forks too! I just LOVED how invested the whole town has been with this series that took the world by storm and became a phenomenon lol. I'm grown now but still it was so fun to check this off my list and see what inspired Stephanie Meyer to write her books. This was my first time in Forks and I was soooo excited because I am a huge twilight fan. I was waiting in line for the tour with my two dogs (one is a service dog and one is not). The family ahead of us also had a non service dog in line and they prompted were allowed into the tour. While I was waiting my turn to go into the tour, this woman very aggressively approaches us and says "I need to talk to you about your dog. What service does it provide". Me, not knowing who this random woman is, hesitantly answer her questions. She continues to question me and I ask, "is this to enter the museum?". She says yes. She did not have a uniform, name tag or introduce who she was and why she was approaching us with these questions. I don't mind answering questions however, when the interaction is aggressive right off the back, this is very off putting. I left the line after feeling I was attacked and did not complete the tour after waiting 30 plus minutes. Please look into your employees training of how to encounter those with disabilities because this right here was a perfect example of someone who is discriminatory and unaware of how to approach people. read more
