The local barber gave him a combover which has never been his look and he was completely distraught by it. A quick trip to Alena and she shortened the feathery top to remove the combover, and shortened the sides to give him the appearance of more hair. I was impressed by her skill and strategy: she understands how to work with a hair challenge instead of awkwardly covering it up. She knows mens' haircuts and really should have been our first stop. So glad she was there to help: my partner left looking great and also so relieved that he has been "saved" by her skills!

I am still looking for the perfect scotch though... Located on Pierrefonds boulevard, this place is full of talented barbers that can pretty much give you any modern haircut you ask them to. They're quick, courteous and the establishment is very clean and well decorated. Mazz, the owner, is a very kind person and is very attentive to his customers. Finding a barber is not just about finding the best hair and beard stylist, it's finding a place where you feel comfortable and appreciated. These guys are dedicated to outstanding customer service. I was just there last weeks as he is the best in the business on his beards and I always get great comments back. He has a new guy that does DJ Khalid in Miami and I gave him a try. Keep in mind I am super fussy and hate paying for a service that is not perfect. He worked on my beard for 45 min and gave me an incredible fade look and then a haircut that blended perfectly.
