Fellas I'm back on Yelp! To let you know this place isn't my thing, vibe is kinda cool if you a kid or enjoy a hip hop/nyc vibe to your barbershop but I've tried it multiples times and yeah, nah. Probably like 5 or 6 times I gave second chances, tried 3 different barbers which I hate cause everyone knows switching barbers is like cheating on your homegirl but I had hoped the next one was going to know how to handle my curly thick hair. It's not THAT complicated to do a nice looking fade, but when it comes to proportions and details theses fools should go back to school. I had better haircut for 15$ in Brooklyn. They charge 30$ here. The store definitely needs to be redone and if the owner needs a handy man holla at me man that's what I do! But thank to the workers and owners, atmosphere is cool/laid back depending on who you are I guess but they need to be more professional. Won't go back there tho. read more

This is my favorite place to get a hair cut. They always do a great job here, and I've seen a couple different barbers over the years. I had Carlos a few times and he was awesome. Last time I went which was a few days ago, I went and had Steve cut my hair and he took his time (probably a good 40 minutes), and I had an awesome conversation with him the whole time. I'll absolutely be back to see him for my next haircut. The only downside of the place is that the wait can be absolutely insane. When I walked in at 1:30pm on a Sunday (the don't even open til 1 on Sundays) there was already a 10 guy line. So I ended up having to wait a good hour and 15 minutes or so to get my haircut. However, one has to appreciate the wait in a way, that means they are actually taking the time to get your haircut right. I would happily wait an hour or more to get my haircut and have it look great, than wait 10 minutes and be afraid to look in the mirror. Great job Steve, I'll be back soon. read more

Wasn't 100% sure when I entered but my barber Espois (sorry for the bad spelling) was an absolute pro. He asked all of the right questions and gave me a stellar cut. Couldn't be more thrilled and looking forward to coming back from Toronto for touch up's. read more

This is a really cool barbershop. The man, Dimitri (not sure if I spelled it right) knows what a proper fade is and is extremely meticulous with cuts. He takes his time and has patience when it comes to going shorter on the cuts. I really enjoyed the cut and got exactly what I wanted. I will be back! Looks like I have a new barber. read more

Love these guys. I'm there every 2-3weeks. There's a lottt of barbershops in the city now since it's becoming a trendy thing. However, these guys dont inflate their prices, and don't turn into little bitches if you dont have a few extra bucks on you to tip. The last time I was there, I actually overheard the owner say "We charge what we charge, we're not comign after you for more" LOL. Nothing irks me more than when someone gets pissy about a tip. I always tip, but sometimes i dont have the change on me. Anyway, after being there a few times, and seeing other cuts on other clients, I can say all the barbers are good at what they do, and always listen to/give you what you want. For the price, it's amaaaazing. I hope these guys stay cheap and real while giving great cuts. There's a lot of ego out there with men's grooming becoming a niche, these guys could totally blow themselves up more and charge more, but they dont - and I find that refreshing. read more

These guys are packed 24/7 for a reason. Atmosphere is cool, great music, the barbers are clearly good at what they do and their success is proof that theyre on the ball. I wont go elsewhere as long as I live in downtown Montreal. Prices are on par with other barbers but the atmosphere and quality of work always prompts me to leave a $5 tip. Beard+haircut is $25, but the experience is worth $30 to me. Thanks for keeping things fresh! read more

By far the best barber shop and hair cut I i have ever experienced. It took about half an hour but was worth it. I would have been fine if it took a little longer. Overall good hospitality, did not try to up sell; or pressure me into spending more money. They only thing I would like to see as improvement is if they put a little bUt more time into cleaning the place . If they were to put in a half hour to an hour of cleaning the place would look even better. But overall amazing barber shop five stars. read more

I decided to go this barbershop for the first time after reading a lot of great reviews. My usual barber wasn't available so I decided to try some place new. I loved the atmosphere, great music, great people. Everybody was really nice and I was surprised with how reasonable the prices were. I asked for a combover with a skin fade and I felt like the barber who cut my hair, rushed through it. He pretty much shaved my whole head except for the top part which I didn't like. Not much scissor work. My hair was really wet when he told me it was done. Didn't blow dry my hair till I asked. When he did, it wasn't completely dry. No hair product was used for my hair. I didn't bother asking again. I'm pretty disappointed with the haircut, especially that it was my first time. I've never had this problem with other barbershops from around the world. I wouldn't mind going there again but I would have to be really specific on how I want my cut or show a picture next time. I'd recommend this place to other people but unfortunately this place isn't for me. - I give it a 5 star for the Atmosphere of the place. - 2 star for the haircut. read more

Awesome place!! After the horrible service I got from another (no-named) shop I came to these guys. All I needed done was get my side part shaved. I arrived here straight from the airport suitcase and all, with a hair cut from hell that got the previous week at home in Edmonton. Owner was present and I asked if he could fix my bad cut as I had a presentation in the morning to a large group and he smiled and got to work. Precision cutting here - and he managed to give me a look that was sharp and met my needs. I wish I lived in Montreal so I could go here all the time.
