So I stop at Douglas Collision and Mr. Tim came out to take a look and he began to work on it right away! The plastic was hard to deal with but he didn't let it deter him and kept working on it. Until lo and behold he got it working again! I was so happy, because I carry the kids in this car and we need to be able to use the seat belts. Then I turned around and asked him how much do I owe you? He said nothing! Who gives a service nowadays and not charge you? Therefore, I would like to recommend their services to you. They are very professional and kind mechanics. I have had other services provided from them and their prices are a lot better than some dealerships. Thank you for reading. Have a great day!

My experience with Douglas Collision Center was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns…read moreabout workmanship, honesty, and customer treatment. I brought my daughter's vehicle in after a rear-end accident. When I returned for the first pickup on November 12th, I discovered new damage on the car that was not present at drop-off, which I documented with timestamped photos. When I pointed this out, the manager (Tim) initially denied it until the photos were shown. During that same first pickup, I identified multiple paint defects on the bumper. Instead of addressing them, Tim became combative and stated that I was the one who had damaged the bumper--something that was not true and did not match the condition of the car shown in my photos from drop-off. This was extremely concerning and added to the growing trust issues I was experiencing. I later withdrew repair authorization due to the new damage and the accusation, but the shop continued working on the vehicle anyway. During the second pickup attempt, the situation escalated. My daughter and wife were inspecting the car when additional issues were found, including paint defects, misalignment, and a missing underbody cover plate that had not been reinstalled. Despite these issues, we were told to take the car as-is. A staff member then made a false accusation that my minor daughter had chipped paint from the bumper--something disproven by timestamped photos and video taken before the vehicle was touched. The interaction also included hostile comments, which were captured on video. The next day, we took the vehicle to Maurice's Auto Body, who documented and confirmed every defect, including the missing underbody panel and the new damage created at Douglas. They completed the repairs properly, and Douglas ultimately paid them for part of the corrective work. My experience reflected: * new damage created during the repair process, * refusal to correct visible defects, * an accusation that I damaged the bumper during the first pickup, * unauthorized continuation of repairs after I withdrew approval, * false accusations toward both me and my daughter, * and unprofessional, hostile conduct. Based on what we documented and what an independent shop confirmed, I cannot recommend Douglas Collision Center.

Where do I begin? First off I went for a simple oil change, tire rotation and transmission fluid…read moreflush. They call me mid service and try to say that my vehicle was having a bunch of other issues and refused to change the transmission fluid stating it was going to cause more problems than good because the transmission "adjusted" to the old fluid. They then told me no other mechanic would change the transmission fluid because it was so old. Well I went ahead and allowed them to complete the oil change, the tire rotation and a couple of other things they recommended. I then drove home and noticed the car making some unfamiliar new sounds. I wait a couple of days, poor decision on my end, and noticed the oil level was below the low mark. I went ahead and put several quarts of oil in to bring it up to full. Well I decided right then and there I will no longer use jiffy lube for any maintenance. I was going to leave it alone, until today I was told by my mechanic who was completing everything as requested up above, including the transmission fluid flush, that the previous mechanic cross threaded the lug nuts on the wheels and sheered several of the bolts off. Luckily the mechanic I typically use was honest with me and gave an estimate on the high and low end. I would never recommend this shop to anyone, obviously they are all too incompetent to even be in this field. If you need quality maintenance done, take your vehicle right down the road to Elite Automotive. They are family owned and the friendliest staff I have ever dealt with. If they make a mistake they will own up to it, Jiffy Lube on the other hand, well they are just out to take your money.

Tyler, the technician, was excellent. He had a great personality, strong people skills, and you…read morecould genuinely tell he cares about doing a good job. I truly appreciated his professionalism and the quality of his work. Unfortunately, my experience with management -- specifically Frankie -- was very disappointing. Communication about pricing and service options was unclear from the start. We came in with a coupon for a conventional oil change, but before we were given the opportunity to confirm what type of oil we wanted, they assumed synthetic and proceeded without clearly reviewing the price difference with us first. By the time we realized what had happened, the oil had already been put in the vehicle, and we were essentially left with no choice but to pay significantly more than we intended. There was no real discussion, no clear breakdown of options, and no agreement on pricing beforehand. That is not how customer service should work. Customers should be presented with clear choices and transparent pricing before work is performed -- not after the fact. It felt like we were backed into paying more than expected, and that's frustrating. Situations like this are exactly why many car owners who know their way around vehicles prefer to handle maintenance themselves. It makes you wonder how many customers who aren't familiar with car services end up paying for upgrades or add-ons they didn't knowingly choose. If I had been properly informed and given options upfront, this likely would have been a very different experience. Transparency and communication matter.
