They answered and made an appt quickly for the same day, which was fantastic. Dima came out and examined my washing machine. He let me know a couple of parts needed to be ordered so it would be a couple of days. He said they would call me to let me know when it was coming in to schedule the next visit. The communication after this was a bit choppy. I had to call a couple of times to get an update and it ended up being more than a week to get the parts in, which is fine.. I just wanted someone to let me know. He came back yesterday with the parts and got me all sorted out and I'm back to being chained to laundry (haha). Overall it was a good experience.

The refrigerator stoped delivering water through the water supply system. I did everything I knew…read morehow, like changing filters. But nothing helped. All I ever got was a very slow flow. Frustrating beyond belief. I called Universal Repair because they had very good feedback ratings. Lo and behold, the positive feedback was just what I experienced. I was given a next day appointment by Valerie, with a two hour window. Dmytro showed up right on time! He didn't mess about. He went straight to work diagnosing my problem. Then he did his magic and suddenly my refrigerator was working like new. Dmytro showed me the condenser and it was disgustingly dirty. He cleaned that up to like new. Not only did Dmytro repair my water problem,he left my refrigerator in better shape than it had been in years. Dmytro gave me a price which sounded justified. And accepted my check in payment. Well, we needed our Maytag dryer repaired - it was squeaking for a couple of minutes with a heavy…read moreload. I called to schedule an appointment, I was in no hurry. They were actually able to have someone drop by the next day. Kelly arrived on time with a smile. He started the dryer, said he could hear it (I couldn't). I was afraid I was going to have to get ten wet towels for the thing to start squeaking. He said it was probably the rollers and / or pulleys. I told him to fix it, the Fonzi method does not work. He replaced the pulleys and rollers. I gave it a couple of weeks but the dryer does not squeak any longer. The price for the service call was more than reasonable. He checked the dryer for dust / lint / hair and vacuumed it as well. Mr. Appliance of Parker still provides great service at a reasonable cost.

I just had Hermes out again yesterday, and not only were they the least expensive, Alex was early and installed a new garbage disposal for me. He even went out to get a part that was apparently missing from the new one, but didn't charge me time or trouble for it. He is always very polite & pleasant.
