I cannot overstate what a positive experience I've had with Dr. Walker. I was dealing with a really bothersome sty-like infection on my eyelid that was not resolving on its own despite my hopes that it would. Before I even thought to seek medical attention Dr. Walker overheard me talking about my issue at our local surf shop and offered to take a look. Without a second thought about what was in it for him, Dr. John gave me his contact info and prescribed me some antibiotics and ointment. His sincere interest in my well-being didn't stop there. He was SO much better about following up with me than ANY doctor I have ever visited for treatment. Immediately he was checking-in to see if I had started the treatment, how things were improving, tips on how to care for the infection... He even stopped by my place of work after a few days to see for himself how I was doing! I was blown away! Up to that point I had only exchanged a few words about surfing with him, and now he seemed as invested in my recovery as I was. Despite the improvement in my condition, I still had a blockage of a gland in my eyelid that I needed help to drain, and of course Dr. Walker was on-board. He invited me over to his house, after spending his whole day driving around to clinics, for a small procedure to lance the cyst. Knowing that I was a starving artist he simply offered to do all of this out of his own kindness, and desire to help people. He educated me on what he was doing, showing me anatomical illustrations, and explained the functions of the different glands of the eyelid. I could tell that he is thoroughly engaged in his practice, the ways that everyone hopes their doctors will be. Naturally this made a somewhat intimidating procedure, instantly more comfortable. I have total faith in Dr. Walker and his determination to solve problems. With a minimal amount of pain the procedure was over, and I felt so relieved. It all went just as Dr. Walker explained it would. I went home to tell my girlfriend what a surprisingly amazing experience it was, and how lucky I felt to run into such a phenomenal doctor/human being. Since the procedure my eye has been recovering according to schedule, and Dr. Walker has been following-up every day to make sure I'm doing well. It is such a huge relief to me, with my limited healthcare options, that I have such a sincere person to turn to with my health concerns. In short Dr. John Walker has restored my faith in doctors (and humanity by extension). I cannot recommend him highly enough! read more

This was the scariest yet most exciting experience of my life! I wanted to get this procedure done for the last few years. I was very insecure about my butt and embarrass. I did a lot of research and met plenty of doctors, but did not feel like I was in good hands with any doctor nor felt comfortable. Until, one day I was talking to my neighbor about my situation and she said,"go with Dr. Walker I had my butt done with him". I was like ,What! You had your butt done. Her butt looks so real and nice I could't believe it. She said,"You will be in good hands and they take really good care of you".  So I scheduled an appointment. When I met Doctor Walker I knew he was the one, he made me feel secure and comfortable and that's what I was looking for. I'm not exaggerating please believe me. He walks you through every single step! He genuinely cares about your goal and your health and will do everything on his part to achieve it! I mention to him that the Doctors that I met would't give me a tour of surgery room that was scary for me I needed to see it. He said, "Come on let me show you our surgery room we have nothing to hide". I was like wow! This is the place where I'm having the surgery. Also, the staff is wonderful. Great Staff!  They are super friendly and caring. The day of my surgery my boyfriend drop me off early in the morning the nurse Marybeth prep me and made me feel so... comfortable and relaxed.Thank you Marybeth such an angel. She was getting me ready before Doctor Walker comes in to do my surgery.  I was getting really cold and started to shiver and I think it was because of the medicine, so Doctor Walker gave me extra blankets and covered me, he said, "Patient come first". Wow! He would do anything to make you feel comfortable. Once the anesthesia was given to me Doctor Walker and the nurse Marybeth hold my hand to make me feel comfortable again before I was put to sleep. Then when I woke up nurse Jackie was with me for over 2 hours in the recovery room, while I slept. Every time I opened my eyes she was right there. OMG! Talk about patient care I felt so special. This experience makes me want to have another procedure.  If you are like me and are having trouble deciding which doctor, look no further. You are in great hands. Believe me! Dr. Walker is Amazing. I can't believe I am able to wear clothes I have always wanted to wear but boobs got in the way. I was always scared of surgery and have talked to more than 6 Drs. Having 2 miscarriages, my breasts were facing south, causing me spasms and pain on my shoulders. I was really terrified of doing surgery but after someone referred me to Dr. Walker, I asked about him, red some reviews and reassured me that he takes great care of his patients and has done this multiple times, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so happy I did. I feel like 22 again in my 40's. I can't speak enough about him and his staff and their patience and understanding with my one million questions, calls and fear they were able to dissipate. They gave me great tips for pre surgery and post surgery and my healing has been so good. Thanks to Dr Walker for my great breast surgery!! I have now had 2 surgeries with him on my breasts because I wanted to go bigger & I also had a liposuction operation done as well at the same time that I had my breast aug operation with him. He speaks great spanish & knows how to heal his patients quickly & in a timely manner if you follow his instructions. I really appreciate all the time that he has spent with me in numerous occasions to get me to look the way I wanted to since the very first time we met. I just had my surgery with Dr John Walker on 6/30/17. I had a mini tummy tuck and Brazilian butt lift (bbl) and I must say that this Dr is AMAZING! I can finally say that I'm truly happy with myself. After having 2 kids, I needed some cosmetic help. I went to 4 different consultations and no one took their time to explain to me everything that Dr Walker explained to me. 1st, he made me lose some weight (all the other drs just wanted to take my $ and do the surgery asap) and Pointed out other areas that I needed lipo in and his prices are very reasonable. I had my first consultation with Dr. walker back in March 2021. He was one of 3 doctors I visited. I booked him 1 week after I saw him. Out of the 3 doctors I saw he made me feel the most comfortable and really took his time to listen to my concerns, needs and realistic expectations for my body type. I had surgery June 7, 2021. ETT, Lipo 360, chin Lipo and fat transfer to hips and buttocks. First and foremost the care that was taken at the surgery center in Santa Monica was amazing! I am so grateful to have had my explant done by Dr. Walker. I had implants from a previous implant surgery that were not well done and needed to be removed. I was so worried I would be left with small saggy breasts, but he did an incredible job with my reconstructive breast surgery. The breast lift turned out great! He always gives his full attention, availability, and he truly cares about his patients happiness. Through my recovery he was very attentive, i was able to text /call w any question i had. UPDATE Picture: Here is my 2 month progress picture, I love the results! My skin feels amazing no lumps and very smooth. I'm DOWN to a XXS which I never thought I would be in my life. According to people I've talked to that had bbl surgery say my waist will keep shrinking slightly more ( i will update if true). I do want to address the last review. They don't keep your money but obviously there is a cancellation fee since they have paid to reserve the surgery center and exams. They SOMETIMES have their doors locked, if they only have one patient bc doctor and his assistant are there with you (hence: the great service I received for consultation/ check up, that I'm so happy about). Dr walker is an amazing dr !!!!!!!!! Last year i went to a dr ( confidential) long story short it was a DISASTER !!!! I got a breast lift and the job was HORRIBLE. My aeorla was basically placed on my collard bone and there was no way to fix this issue the dr did not nothing to help comfort me or suggest how he can fix HIS mistake as both aeorla was equally placed IN THE WRONG AREA !!! so for over a year of being insecure and embarrassed of my horrible scars and extremely high aeorla i contacted DR WALKER !!! AMAZING !!! I had weight loss surgery 1 year and half ago and lost over 150 pounds and my face was effected tremendously, I was shopping around for a mini face lift , I sent Dr Walker random text one day with my pictures ( i had never met him before ) and he said absolutely not you just need a fat transfer , I had never heard of a fat transfer so i started doing research and still went on several consultations and they all suggested the same thing , in January 2019 i finally had the procedure done with Dr. Walker and i felt so comfortable with him and the results are amazing . i do need to go for a touch up which is standard for facial fat transfer but the whole experience has been amazing . he really wants you to be happy with your results and will do anything to make you happy , the staff are amazing i have worked in the health care industry for over 10 years and i know what to expect when going to these places and they are legit . can wait for my second procedure in a couple weeks i will be uploading pictures later today to show the amazing before and after Thank you guys for everything. read more

Dr. Walker is not only an excellent surgeon, but a compassionate and knowleagable doctor. After having had a botched lipo procedure to my abdomen which was perormed in BH, I spent lots of time and money consulting many surgeons who did not promise any improvement higher than a 50%. Dr Walker is the only surgeon I trust and believe. He is a man of his word and he always wants to do what is best for his patients not what is best for himself. Let me just start by saying my mom is in love with her transformation. The experience with John Walker coming from the person who cared for his patient (ie my mother) the experience was amazing. He knew exactly what she needed and listened to what she wanted to enhance her natural shape. Her body came out beautifully. During the procedure he communicated with me and kept me updated on my moms process. He also made sure to communicate with me and check on her throughout the process of healing after leaving. While being there i told him i might also want the same procedure and if i were to get this done i would no doubt be on his table. Before my procedure he made sure that all my questions were answered and his medical assistant Alejandra was super helpful and treated me with kindness. The procedure I got done was double chin and cheek lipo with fat transfer to my cheek bones and lips. After my surgery Dr. Walker made sure I had enough pain medication and when the first one was too strong for me he gave me another medication that was worked better for me right away. The second day post op he gave me my second garment that I would wear for a month and he also told me how many lymphatic drainage massages I would need. I had a consultation about Liposuction, knowing what really bothered me about my body. Dr Walker was confident that he would make a thinner but natural version of me. His reassurance knowing he has experience with these surgeries for almost 25 years made feel he was the right doctor for me. He did the surgery removing fat from my back, my hips, my stomach, top of my legs inside and out and inside the bottom of my knees. It was a 2 hour surgery.
