From the beginning, she made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in the right hands. After one year of consistent treatment under her care, she was able to fully help me resolve a severe fungal condition that I had been dealing with for years. Dr. Yousefpour is highly experienced, professional, and uses advanced laser technology for skin and nail conditions, which made a significant difference in my results. If you've been putting off getting help, I strongly encourage you to take that step with her. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and truly delivers results, 100% recommended.

I had a very frustrating experience with this office's billing and refund process…read more For my daughter's first visit on 2/27, I was charged $182 in addition to the copay, even though I specifically asked whether this doctor was in-network. The front desk confirmed that it was. When I questioned why I was being charged $182, I was told that if there was any overpayment, I could bring the EOB back to the office for a refund once I received it. I even asked if I needed to bring the EOB statement back in person for the refund, and the front desk said yes, adding that "you will be coming back anyway." For the follow-up visit on 3/11, I was charged another $90 and was again told to wait until I received the Blue Shield EOB and then bring the EOB to the office to request a refund. I understand that refunds may require a process, and I am completely fine with that. However, the front desk communication was very unprofessional and caused unnecessary inconvenience. After receiving the EOB, I called ahead and clearly told the front desk that I was calling about a refund. Since I had originally been told to bring the EOB to the office for the refund process, I wanted to confirm before going. The front desk specifically told me that the office would be open on Wednesday. I even confirmed with her by asking, "So I can come in on Wednesday directly for the refund?" and the front desk lady said yes. She also asked whether I had already received the EOB, and I confirmed that I had. However, when I went to the office on Wednesday, the office was not open at all and no one was there. Only after I called again did she tell me that I did not need to come in for the refund and that it could be handled over the phone. If the refund could have been handled by phone, this information should have been communicated during my first call instead of asking me to come in person. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted my time. Patients' time should be respected, and they should not be asked to make unnecessary trips because of poor communication. Update 04/18/2026 The clinic did not respond to my review on Yelp. Their response was posted on Google instead. For transparency and completeness, I am sharing their response here so others can see the full context. My child had two visits at this clinic. During both visits, no medication or merchandise was provided. The first visit involved an X-ray, and the second visit was a follow-up. Update 04/19/2026 You claimed an ointment was given, Please provide proof (receipt or video). What was the ointment, and how do you justify the $85 charge?

My job makes it difficult for me to make it in for appointments with any doctor and Dr SHAK not only recognized this but went out of his way to make sure I received the care I needed. Furthermore he even squeezed in an evaluation for my VA appointment I had coming up. I highly recommend Dr. SHAK, he goes above and beyond for his patients, is incredibly personable, and is fantastic at his job. I really can't thank him enough and I'd never go anywhere else.

I was referred to this office in August and unfortunately had a very poor experience…read more During intake, my medications and personal information were discussed with the exam room door left open, which raised serious concerns for me about patient privacy. The doctor was in the room for less than five minutes before prescribing a strong anti-inflammatory medication and instructing me to return in one week to evaluate how it worked and discuss next steps for treatment. On the day of my follow-up appointment, I received a call that my appointment was being canceled due to an issue with my insurance referral. I had adjusted my work schedule for this appointment, so the last minute cancellation was highly unprofessional. I was told they would contact me once the referral issue was corrected, but I never heard back. As a result, I completed a week of strong medication with no follow-up care. Billing was also handled poorly. I initially received a bill for nearly $300, followed later by a corrected statement for $10 (my insurance co-pay) with no explanation for the error. Because the office requires payment by check (which I do not utilize), I called repeatedly from October through February to pay the balance over the phone by credit card. However, no one answered the phone, and I left multiple messages, including with after-hours staff, but never received a callback. In February, I finally received a call stating my balance was "deeply outstanding" and at risk of being sent to collections. When I explained that I had been trying for months to resolve the balance and had left multiple messages, the response was brief and dismissive, including the comment, "Oh, I guess I should check the messages." The lack of follow-up care, poor communication, billing confusion, and privacy concerns made this an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Had she understood what her computer read, she would see I have met my individual deductible. She wanted me to pay what left of the family deductible. So she told me I need to pay $140 plus whatever services are rendered. That was upfront! I hadn't even seen the doctor yet. I knew I I wasn't responsible to pay for the office visit in full. As soon as I got in the car I called Blue Cross who told me that I was right. They put me on hold and called her and explained to her how it worked and that she should not have asked up front and taught her what she should have done. I did not return as I did not trust this office anymore. So please make sure you speak to your insurance company first and ask reception at the office to check:understand your insurance benefits BEFORE you drive all the way down there.
