I tried to make an appointment but the woman I spoke with insisted I need an authorization. I explained to her I didn't because Medicare was my primary insurance. She told me I was wrong (which I wasn't). I told her I'd reconfirm my status with my primary care doctor and asked if we could just set an appointment date in the interim. She refused. After confirming with my PCP, I was right. I called Dr Kaplan's office the next day and asked to make an appointment and assured them I did not need an authorization. They refused again. I asked to speak to the office manager and was told she was out of the office (10am on a Monday). I left my phone number for a call back and never got a return call. They don't know the rules of insurance , don't know how to deal with the public, and don't follow up with a requested phone call. I found another practice, had no issues making an appointment and I'm happy with the results that doctor provided.

I swore that I was gonna come and leave a negative review, however, after meeting with the doctor, I can understand why there could be a wait. The doctor took her time and met with me and my son to really try to understand what the issue was. Most doctors offices will try to rush you in and rush you out to see as many patients as possible while Dr. Huang took plenty of time to understand what my kids feet issues were. I would suggest coming to see this doctor but just preface that there might be a wait so don't plan on something right after your doctors visit.

The parking is located in the back and the entrance is easily accessible. While I walked in the lobby, the reception greeted and handed me some paperwork to fill out. He answered all my questions and assisted me with my concerns. Great experience overall.

As soon as I got in the car I called Blue Cross who told me that I was right. They put me on hold and called her and explained to her how it worked and that she should not have asked up front and taught her what she should have done. I did not return as I did not trust this office anymore.
