He told me to buy new shoes. He wanted to schedule a follow up appt which I quickly declined. He doesn't listen to what you're telling him. Had to repeat myself several times September 2024 I visited Dr Oghoorian at pacific foot and ankle. He diagnosed my issue as being a neuroma inside three minutes without the use old fancy equipment. I am now receiving treatment and am on the road to being pain free. I feel ripped off going to Dr Goldblatt. He doesn't have a clue about very common conditions. I question his competency. In August 2022 I was in a major car accident. I spent a year in hospitals, acute care facilities, surgeries, and finally a nursing home to recover. In August 2023 I was discharged from the nursing home. I assumed that I would go back to my wonderful doctor Saddiq. However, when I tried to make an appointment, I was informed by his Office manager (wife) that my physician no longer wanted to be my physician and that they had a staff meeting about me to make this decision. Evidently they felt my case was too complicated for the physician to handle. This left me in a very confused and upset position as I was now being discharged from the nursing home with no trusted physician to care for me outpatient. I have now been home a year. The transition has been exceedingly difficult because instead of working with a trusted physician who I knew well, I have had to use the nursing home physician who practices 3 cities away from where I live. Not a great time to be shopping around for a long term physitian and specialists. This has been a profound challenge, adjusting to being home as a new paraplegic who needs continued care. I have tried talking with the office staff at this office to see if we could mediate whatever the concerns were that they had. I have felt like the treatment from their front office and the silence from Dr. Saddiq himself has been less than kind this last year. I thought long and hard before writing this review, but in light of the way that I have been treated in the last attempts to discuss this with them I came to the conclusion that this review is long overdue. I find myself wondering what happened to the wonderful physician that I used to work with in this office? What did I do wrong? In full disclosure, I would've been a bit of a project when I first came out of the nursing home. I need orders for durable medical equipment, changes in medication, help withdrawing from pain meds. And home health care. I did it all successfully alone. And in May of this year I weaned myself off pain meds with no help from doctors. While I wish no ill will on this staff and I forgive them, I still feel hurt that I was left to fend for myself, deal w a broken Insurance and medical system and lost a great doctor I trusted as I recovered.

He was able to diagnose it was trauma and gave me the right plan for treatment. My toes are looking almost normal again. They schedule so there is not a lot of wait time in office. Even though my situation is not life threatening or needing surgery, I never felt my time in his care as not important to him. One of my best experiences with a medical professional! I tried to make an appointment but the woman I spoke with insisted I need an authorization. I explained to her I didn't because Medicare was my primary insurance. She told me I was wrong (which I wasn't). I told her I'd reconfirm my status with my primary care doctor and asked if we could just set an appointment date in the interim. She refused. After confirming with my PCP, I was right. I called Dr Kaplan's office the next day and asked to make an appointment and assured them I did not need an authorization. They refused again. I asked to speak to the office manager and was told she was out of the office (10am on a Monday). I left my phone number for a call back and never got a return call. They don't know the rules of insurance , don't know how to deal with the public, and don't follow up with a requested phone call. I found another practice, had no issues making an appointment and I'm happy with the results that doctor provided.
