The service department of this dealership is a sham. They had my 2024 F150 Hybrid for 2 weeks and did nothing. They lied to my face about it as well. I dropped off the truck with 18000 miles on it because it totally shut down will driving. I was told by this service dept that only one tech knew how to work on this type of truck. However, each time I tried to talk with him they would tell me he was "out to lunch". I got FMC involved and they told them the same thing when they asked to talk to the tech working on my truch - "he is out to lunch". The caseworker at FMC advised me to seek out another service department and thankfully I was able to get it to one and they went to work the very same day I delivered it. Vance Ford Service Department continually lied about the issues with my truck as well as when I did go to look in on it had it parked unlocked on their back parking lot. They couldn't even find the key when I asked for it. I have never had such chaotic service from a dealership in all my life. This department works on deception and come to find out they are extremely incompetent. The person I was stuck with was Scot and he continually manipulated and lied about the status of my truck. Had I not got FMC involved my truck would still be sitting on their back lot. I drive Ford Trucks. Needless to say I will never be back at Vance Ford in Guthrie nor any other dealership that bears that name. Beware of this dealership my friend! read more

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience with the service at this dealership. I had hoped for better, given that it's a Ford, but the reality has been disappointing. I was informed that a part controlling the heat and air was faulty, with a quoted fix of $350 and the assurance that it could be done while I waited. Instead, after three days and four unanswered messages, the cost skyrocketed to nearly $3,000. To make matters worse, I previously endured a full system rebuild that cost me $17,000, only to have the fuel line rupture a week later. They had just fixed the fuel line, yet now they wanted an additional $3,300 to address the issue again. The calculations are hard to ignore. When I raised my concerns, I was met with laughter from staff, which only added to my frustration. Avoid doing business here--I'm not the only one who feels this way. I had to give them a star to leave this review, but they certainly don't deserve it. read more

I have purchased two diesel pickups off their lot and used their service center exclusively for both. After this last full service on a 2022 dually lariat my driver made it 20 miles and the check engine light came on. After returning to the service center they had to reset the DTC's and plug in the sensor on the water separator they had left unhooked. Never changed the air filter or cabin filters as requested. During the tire rotation they damaged the wheels with deep gouges. I went over a week reaching out in attempts to correct the issue finally working up the latter far enough for a response. I was given a loaner for a few days while a guy they knew could see if they were repairable. Communication was terrible and throughout the process but they finally decided it was bad enough to replace the to front wheels. I waited for a call over a month and never heard anything back. Finally calling them and emailing other departments I had been in contact with I received a call back. I had a driver deliver the truck to have two wheels replaced. The service department had an attitude with him over his timing. He drove 2 hours to there shop for damage they caused! 2 more hours in the waiting area for 2 wheels! 2 more hours home. Texting the same guy I had been in contact with about the situation and have yet to hear a response. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to John Vance Ford again. This had to be the most unprofessional customer service I have ever dealt with. read more

I was on a trip to the lazy e when a screw went in my tire , these guys got me in and out in a hurry highly recommend them !!

Gave them 3 stars with Ford site but Ford refused to post a negative review so now they get a one at most. I went to get a recall taken care of and ask them to activate the brake controller. According to YouTube a 17 minute computer job. The same mechanic that did the recall did the activation. Charged me $129. Another deal in Yukon quoted on it's own $70. So will not be using John Vance again. read more

We were traveling through Guthrie, OK on a trip with our travel trailer. A part broke on our Ford F-150 that assisted with the RV brakes. We were definitely in a bind, and were even more stressed out due to a hurricane heading straight for our home in Houston. My husband and I went in prepared to be angry and fight (because that is what we have to do to get anything done at the dealerships in Houston), and discovered that was unnecessary. They fixed our problem without hesitation. It was covered under warranty, no problem. They even had the darn part in stock! And, then they provided my husband with a new key because the dealership that had sold us the car in Houston, never fixed the key, as promised. They were friendly, helpful and understanding. Then, just as we were leaving, a woman pulled up in a rental car (she was just driving through, as well) and was having problems with her TPMS light inside the car. When we left, she had pulled her rental car into the shop and they were checking her tire pressure-a car that wasn't bought from them, had nothing to do with them and a woman who would probably never be back. They were just being nice. As far as I am concerned, every Ford dealership could learn a thing or two from these wonderful people. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

Shopping was very low pressure and that's the only good thing I can say about this dealership. I bought a used car and was only given one key. Unfortunately it wasn't the key that allowed me to drive faster than 50 mph or adjust the volume of the radio. I had to go to another dealership and pay 250 dollars to have a key made. We were promised a rental car when we had maintenance (because we live over 50 miles away) but that didn't happen, so we literally spent 8 hours in the waiting room of the service department. When you have your 70,000 mile tune-up done, take your Visa because they will charge you over $800. I was sick of their games, so I traded the car at another dealership. I was supposed to be refunded my Gap insurance and extended vehicle warranty and that didn't happen. Buyer beware!!!!!!! read more
