I had to request a new room since my company policy does not allow us to stay on the first floor. They were helpful in adjust to the accommodations I requested with the need to be off the first floor. The only thing I've noticed which is not their fault is that the water quality in west Monroe is poor. The water has a brownish tint to it and is quite discolored. The room did come with two water bottles, a fridge, and the linens were also clean and pillows were soft. The shower had an adjustable head so water pressure was fine. Breakfast in the morning was a standard Hilton complementary breakfast and gets the job done. All around I will be staying there again due to the location and cleanliness. It is near a few steakhouses like Texas Roadhouse and Logan's. It is also a few minutes away from duck commander if you are looking to check out a local site while in town. In my opinion it checks all the boxes minus the water discoloration which is beyond their control.

Previously I've stayed at a different hotel but it has begun a slow decline in service so I started lol,ing elsewhere. Hampton to the rescue. This hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway. The staff were exceptionally nice, polite, and professional. My room was clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was decent and the food remained well stocked at all times. There was fresh coffee available at all times which was nice in the afternoon. afternoon coffee is for winners. I will be back, likely very soon. If you're in Funroe, I recommend you check out this Hampton.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Holiday Inn. On one occasion, housekeeping entered my…read moreroom, went through my belongings, and left my room unlocked when they left. I reported this to Page at the front desk, but I felt my concerns were handled rudely and dismissively. The second incident was even worse. I left for the day with a Do Not Disturb sign clearly displayed on my door, yet two separate housekeepers entered my room while I was away. When I returned, my cologne was missing. After discussing the issue with Kelli, the manager, she eventually acknowledged that two housekeepers had entered my room and that they should never have been there. The hotel replaced the cologne, but it was a smaller version than the one that was taken, and my concerns about that were ignored. I also had to throw away food that had been left in my room because I no longer felt comfortable consuming it after my belongings had been handled. Guests should be able to trust that their rooms, privacy, and personal belongings will be respected. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
