Given his stellar 5-star reviews we felt comfortable hiring F1. His quote was reasonable and though he wasn't available to come immediately, only a few days later. We originally agreed for him to visit on Friday but somehow he or his bro made a mistake and visited on Thursday, when no one was home at that time he came. He did come back on Friday at our scheduled time and fix the issue with the electric power snake. I wasn't present when he did it but someone else was in my place. He also didn't send a follow up text to tell me it's fixed, diagnoses, photos or how to prevent it. But at the same time, he's also patient and didn't ask me to pay until I prompted him several hours later asking about the status of the job. I suppose he's a busy man! Communication could be better, just keep in mind you may have to prompt him again to get your receipt later. What's important is that it's fixed and working properly.

We also received an email with a picture of the technician we were to expect. He quickly diagnosed the issue (a basket) within minutes and quoted us a total with labour included. He had us confirm the cost and advised it'll include a one year warranty. For any service calls after 6pm, or weekends, they advise you that it's a $69 charge, however this will be waived if you go ahead with the work. You can call into their main line, they take your info, and then they have someone from dispatch call you back. A pretty simple process overall.

Noticed a leak in my basement and had no idea where it was coming from. i looked around to check if…read moreit was my water boiler because it happened before but it wasnt so i called drainrooter plumbing to see if someone could come and fix this because it was damaging my hardwood floor. Talked to a representative and they told me they will have someone on their way right away and I should expect a plumber to be there within an hour. Mike the plumber came in 30mins after the call and did an inspection in my basement to see where the water was coming from. He found that the leak was coming from my lavatory sink drain from upstairs. Then told me this is not a big issue and that he will have it fixed asap. He showed me what was done, he even fixed the faucet handle for me and checked the water pipe connections too and did a couple of tests to make sure that there was no more water leaking in the basement and there was not. The company sent someone over to my house within an hour as they promised. Mike was friendly, respectful and helpful. Didnt make a mess when he was doing the repairs. DrainWorks to the rescue!…read more I recently had the bad luck of a kitchen sink backup while visiting my mother in Toronto, a mere 3 hours before a dinner party. I had never had a drain backup before, so I went online and after checking their site, and all of the great reviews, I took the plunge and called DrainWorks. Luckily, I made the right decision! From the moment I called, I was put at ease that I was in the hands of professionals who care about their customers. Their dispatcher assured me they would have someone over within an hour (which they did). Armando, their technician came, put shoe covers on his boots, laid cloths down, to keep the floor clean, and went to work. He worked diligently, and soon enough, the sink was flowing again!
