Then I got a quote from F1, decided on a date and voila, nice new sink that makes the bathroom look a lot nicer and my rusty old sink is on its way to the dump. 2 thumbs up guys

Given his stellar 5-star reviews we felt comfortable hiring F1. His quote was reasonable and though he wasn't available to come immediately, only a few days later. We originally agreed for him to visit on Friday but somehow he or his bro made a mistake and visited on Thursday, when no one was home at that time he came. He did come back on Friday at our scheduled time and fix the issue with the electric power snake. I wasn't present when he did it but someone else was in my place. He also didn't send a follow up text to tell me it's fixed, diagnoses, photos or how to prevent it. But at the same time, he's also patient and didn't ask me to pay until I prompted him several hours later asking about the status of the job. I suppose he's a busy man! Communication could be better, just keep in mind you may have to prompt him again to get your receipt later. What's important is that it's fixed and working properly.

Rick was polite, informative, and easy to have in the home but most importantly, he did a tremendous job. The price seemed fair if a bit more than what we had hoped for. However, we did not want to gamble to save a few hundred dollars with plumbing work done behind a wall. Rick gave us absolute confidence in his ability to not only get it right but as I say, do a very fine job. Rick was natural and friendly with my mother who is a senior and who actually paid for this work. We will certainly consider LP&H in the future.

Oh, plumbing issues are the worse. Sewage in our shower was nasty. Called Leaside who sent someone…read morethe next day to investigate. Trevor came, asked a bunch of questions I had a hard time answering then inserted a camera into the drain to take a look. We live in an old old house with clay pipes that have disintegrated so we pretty much had no pipes for the sewage to drain. They started work on the Monday of the next week. Basement had to be excavated, pipes replaced, holes filled, basement cleaned up as best as the could. They were efficient, came each day 15 minutes early and worked most of the day. Trevor took care of filling in the insurance company with all the pictures and paperwork. I would have no problem calling them in again or referring them to anyone.

tl;dr: Stanley, the owner, is a great and helpful plumber, I highly recommend him:…read more -Gave us a competitive quote in advance when I contacted him by phone and email, and provided pictures -We paid exactly that amount by credit card without any upsell -He showed up on time, same day -He had all the equipment and material he needed to complete the job (even a facemask - this was done during COVID-19) The drain pipe on our kitchen sink was corroded and cracking, so we needed that replaced (it was also clogged). Since we were getting a plumber in, we decided to lump in snaking on 3 other drain lines since it was cheaper to get everything done all at once. We had contacted ten different plumbers (I might've been excessive) for a quote to do the work, including in it details of exactly what we needed to get done and pictures of the corroding pipe. We got a large variety of responses, some refused to provide quotes at all citing different reasons such as "only on-site no obligation quotes" (this doesn't fly with us during COVID-19, thanks) or leaving the material cost variable without any suggestion on price (red flag, even though I specified which piping needed to be replaced and provided pictures). We also had a lot of difficulty getting quotes from many of these other plumbers despite providing clear pictures of the problem piping and describing what needed to be replaced. In contrast, Stanley provided an exact quote in advance using the photos and information we had sent him, which is the exact amount we paid (we're always wary of upcharging). His pricing was very competitive amongst the five plumbers we received quotes back from. He services condos, which we found not all plumbers are willing to do. He adeptly completed the work we needed, cutting and replacing the old piping with new piping and snaking all the drain lines. He has a pretty cool entirely contactless payment method, where he can generate and send invoices from his phone and you can pay through an online portal with your credit card and save a PDF copy of the invoice. We would use his services again, though we hope not to.

Woke up yesterday to find laundry room flooded due to failure of electric water heater. Phoned…read moreAria Plumbing first based on good reviews on Yelp and the fact that it is a local business. Jay answered the phone. He came over immediately and gave me a fair quote to install a new water heater. He obtained and dropped off the new heater later that day. He and Dorjee were kind enough to move stuff out of the way in the laundry room and mop up the remaining water, which my husband had been struggling with. Today, Jay and Dorjee installed the new water heater. We are seniors in an older house and Jay realised that our cut-off valve to the water heater was also failing, so he kindly replaced it today. That explains the extra water on the floor today, after my husband completely closed the valve to the old water heater yesterday. My husband and I agree that Jay and Dorjee are hard workers, conscientious and very pleasant. We will definitely call Aria Plumbing for future needs and already have one issue with our outdoor faucets that need attention before winter. We highly recommend Aria Plumbing. Thanks very much, Jay and Dorjee. - Nancy I edited this review. We live in Etobicoke, Ontario, not the U.S. as indicated when I posted this review.
