We also had additional quotes like most people on here, but found Naz to be very well spoken. We live in an older home and had to tackle everything when it comes to a complete Reno a step at a time. Naz and his crew completely rebuilt our ancient drain system and all did all the waterproofing inside our home. Our basement looked so much better than it originally did. We also built a bathroom in the basement and had to build everything from scratch. It took a bit longer than anticipated but the end result is worth the wait. We are looking forward to finishing our basement with these guys and finally enjoying living in our older home.

I can't say enough good things about Nazar and his crew…read more We hired Canadian Rooter for the first step in finishing our basement. This was a big complicated job for a 100 year old house where the basement hadn't been touched in 100 years. The job included removal of the old concrete and walls, new drainage, waterproofing, sump pump, crawlspace excavation, and a new concrete slab with hydronic infloor heating. Just as the job started we had a family emergency that kept us extremely stressed, busy, and away from home for days at a time. Nazar said "leave it to me" and took care of everything. His crew, including Andrew, are extremely knowledgeable, hard working (I mean really hard working!), and completely trustworthy good guys. They did an outstanding job, handling all of the inevitable complications (city drain that needed clearing, permit issues, last minute change in design from the engineer) - keeping me posted but not asking for anything from me. There are probably other companies that can do this work, but I doubt you'll find one run by someone with the honesty, standards, and integrity that Nazar has.

Then promises to show up next day, when no further updates were provided next day, I called asking for a status and the man answering the phone rudely alleged that I called to cancel (which did not happen) and then when I tried to ask what actually happened, the man rudely hung up on me. Clearly, service are NOT professional here. Skip this place if you are at all in need of a plumbing fix/any fix. I rarely leaves reviews on bad service but this place left me no choice.

Uploading photos enabled them to arrive with the right parts, showing they value my time as well as their own. The duo's work was efficient, neat & organized, they communicated clearly with each other & with me. I was prepared to replace my entire bathtub faucet assembly, however LVP was able to replace one part, now it works better than it ever has, honesty & integrity were evident. As requested, they fixed my toilet, again they had the part required on hand. Everything on my invoice was clearly identified, & having had great plumbers before, while LVP was reasonably priced for a licensed plumber, they were just as good as, probably better than the others.

I called this company for a seasonal service because my gas fireplace would not turn on. I was told…read morethe pilot assembly was rusty and needed replacement, which cost about $700. After the service, the fireplace worked but shut off after roughly one hour. I contacted them again and a technician returned and turned the unit back on, but it shut off again shortly after they left. When I contacted them a third time, I was advised to check the chimney. I personally inspected it and confirmed it was clean and unobstructed. When I followed up again, I was told there may be other issues that would require additional costs and that the problem was not their responsibility, with the implication that I did not know how to operate a gas fireplace. I found this response unprofessional and disappointing, especially since the issue started immediately after their repair and remains unresolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Easily the best experience I have ever had with a contractor…read more I had a minor issue with a toilet fill valve that was end-of-life, and contacted Living Services to make an appointment. Their pricing structure is simple - $60 for an in-home visit and an on-the-spot quotation for the work with no "hard sell" if you don't want to proceed. Aman arrived on time and with everything needed to complete the repair. He was friendly, courteous and informative throughout. I was told how much the work would cost and given an instant quotation on his iPad. I agreed and once the work was completed paid the invoice right on the device. Interac transfers are also accepted which is a nice alternative, but I always prefer to pay by card wherever possible. Before I booked with Living Services, I researched the cost involved so I knew it wouldn't be cheap. They might be a little more expensive than other companies but given the convenience and accurate time slots for an in-home visit I was fine with that. With today's busy lifestyle I didn't want to be waiting around all day for a contractor visit. From start to finish a great experience matched with excellent customer service. The booking process, appointment confirmation and reminder texts meant that I was kept up-to-date throughout the process. The work was completed promptly and Aman took away all of the old parts and garbage for disposal, so there was minimal cleanup required afterwards. Highly recommended!
