They have really reasonable prices and there's always fun stuff to look at. This place is AWESOME. It's got nearly everything you need, or are looking for, including things that you didn't know you were looking for. If you want to decorate an apartment, it's a great place as well. I was able to find a good gift for Fathers birthday. Highly recommend. Also, the name of the store is just hilarious. read more

Do Not purchase anything from this person John, he does not exchange item that are damaged, he sold me an open basketball hoop that is portable, he opened the box for me and showed me that everything was there, we both saw the pole that is for the hoop and it looked bad I asked him if it was normal he said it was the part that belongs to the bottom base, so I thought nothing of it, got home my son was very happy he jumped up with joy, we opened the box to build it and the pole for hoop was cutt in half when it got returned, this is unusable, my son started crying this made me very sad, I took it back to John to see if he could exchange for something else didn't ask for money back, he told me no he would not exchange or give me a refund he was very rude. he also kicked me out of his store, be very careful he should not be in business very unprofessional, just go purchase your items new had to learn the hard way, so this is a warning from an honest person do not shop here. He said that I threatened him, to leave trash in his parking lot, he wanted me to take the box home and wait till he supposedly gets another one like it sure, please do not listen to him he is a big lier, nobody is going to shop at his store anymore his lost, he did say he would help, that was his way to get me to leave, doesn't make no sense why would you damage another box.. He didn't want to give me store credit so I can pick something else he does not know how to run a business, yes all over the store it does say no returns or exchanges but this was not that case, very much regret going to his shop, trust me go buy your product brand new that is way better for all of you!! read more

Went to johns again Friday looking at the griddle they had listed. 22" black stone w stand. New in box. Not opened at half the price of Walmart. Com has it for. staff were nice and informative about the product as always. Even helped me get in my car. The store is clean, neat, and organized. Lots of stuff at great price points. Got the griddle assembled when I got home. Works great as it should no problems. They had some patio chairs that the wife was interested in so we will be going back soon. Staff as nice and courteous. This store is nice and clean and well organized. The owner seemed nice and friendly. The prices did seem a little too high. Some of the things in there, if I'd have been willing to pay that price, I'd just go pay a couple bucks more and buy it brand new retail priced. A friend of mine texted me a photo from John Sells Stuff. One vintage Disney themed item in the photo caught my eye and I stopped by there a few days later. The item was still there and I scooped it up. I texted a photo of the item to a friend of mine who promptly declared it a "great find" and said that I need to take her there. Bought a rug in there around noon. Went home & discovered it was too big for my room. Called John (2 hours after the sale) and asked if I could return it because it was still in my car all wrapped up. Nope! All sales are final! Maybe that should be on a sign in the store. Maybe on the receipt? The best he would do is exchange it for a much smaller one in a different color and pattern and that was doing me a big favor! I took it just so I didn't have to dispose of the 7'.10' original. So my 4x7 in totally the wrong color, is now all I have to show for this (oh plus to trips to Redlands from Mentone). I won't be back John. This is poor customer relations! read more

When John sold stuff out of his house I have bought a few things. He has decent prices. I finally made it into his store and I just love it. It is so well organized. You will have to keep going in there, as he gets new stuff all the time. John wasn't in the day I came, but his mother-in-law was and she is very helpful and friendly. Great little gem of a resale store. Clean and well merchandised (none of that icky "old" smell like some other stores.) We were looking for a drop-leaf table for our daughter's studio apt and John had the perfect one at a very reasonable price. Wonderful selection of fun, decorative knick knacks, too. Plus, I purchased an iPhone charger cord and John happily exchanged it when it failed to work. Nice to find a merchant who stands behind his products! read more

Lots of great items for sale! Really clean and organized too! Love all the cool treasures.

Nice staff, neat items but way too overpriced for what I was looking for. It has some nice antiques but I found that the average items were a little high. Ex. 101 Dalmatian dog figurine from McDonalds happy meal was $2. I think if you are looking for substantial antique items you could possibly find your treasure here. If you are looking at upcycling a few odds and ends,probably not your best bet. Clean and well organized. read more
