The person who bid on it was previously a student there. He tried to use it and they told him he couldn't use it because he wasn't a new student even though it says nothing on the gift certificate that you have to be a new dancer. They told him to have him ask me to give him back his money that he paid for it. This is just another example of the sleazy business practices. So disappointing for the man who bought it. There are so many other places that are fun to dance that have ethics. Jenny in response to your comment with the two other gift certificates you donated for our auction this was not the reaction not honoring certificate. The certificate says nothing about needing to be a new student as a requirement. It also, costs me alot to put on an auction and to create materials to promote your business at our auction. Often times people by gift certificates to support and event and never use them but this time someone wanted to use it. The recipient called me last night and said you offered him a month of free group classes after I posted this. At least he got something for his money. So thank you.

She is learning poise and discipline in a world where children seem to be able to do whatever they want. She is taught wonderful life lessons as well as the importance of exercise. She was a bit of a clumsy little girl when she started but she is turning into quite the graceful young lady with the help of her favorite teacher Lily. The tuition is very reasonable and they have just redesigned the website and I love the auto payments! The small studio is tucked behind Starbucks and next to the Vietnamese restaurant. My husband and I like to hang out during happy hour next door while she has her lessons. I wish there were more class options because it is hard for us to come from Occidental from school and have her quickly get dressed in before class. She also is sad that the only other class time for her is during her concert band rehearsal. Maybe next year it will work out for her to take two classes.. hopefully it does because I think to be in that one it might be required. Make sure your child goes to this studio if you are thinking about dance at a young age. No matter what dance they ultimately want to study in life every one would benefit from a solid ballet foundation and this is exactly what this studio and their awesome instructors can give you.

It used to have classic and beautiful Russian technique, but now we have some serious modern which is necessary technique if youth wants to pursue on dance. And we still have firm classical ballet here. You will discover how great the school is once you are in. You may not see day to day development on your children but there surely is in 6 months. You will be pleased. They are also not limited to dance, will teach children self-discipline, commitment, confidence, balance of life (school work done??) etc and humor (we all need this in life). Emily McAuliffe was great! Both me and my husband had zero ballroom training and Emily introduced the foxtrot to us in a way that was stress-free and fun. One recommendation for Finley would be to pull someone who is holding a class behind. Its not benefiting them in anyway and a lot of attention gets put on them leaving the rest standing(swimming) around alone. Implement a plan where someone can retake the first week of classes instead of allowing then to go on to week 2 when they're still struggling with week 1 assignments. Just be aware of this if you decide to sign up for any of their courses.

Lap Swim Hot Tip: I tried lap swim for the first time, and was quickly educated by another swimmer about one of the unwritten 'rules'; when sharing a lane, always let the swimmer in the lane know you are entering.
