My third just started last week and he has a lot of anxiety but they were so caring and understanding. He's also clinically adhd. They made him feel safe and at home vs a bothersome child. All they care about is money. That's how they operate -- blame the patient, threaten fees, and act like they're doing you a favor by even seeing you. Their in-house financing is also a complete joke. They make it sound like they're helping you by offering flexible payments, but in reality, they want their money no matter what--even if you're behind on treatment and they've done no recent work on your teeth. I've decided to have another orthodontist take over my treatment, and yet they still expect full payment. This office is unprofessional, disrespectful, and entirely money-driven. They don't care about their patients at all. Save yourself the stress and find an orthodontist who actually takes pride in their work and treats people with basic decency. Reply to the Orthodontist and warning to all: I would never go back to your unprofessional office again. Not only do you run an absolutely horrible and money-driven practice, but your staff also violated HIPAA by discussing my private treatment information with my boyfriend without my consent. That is a serious breach of patient confidentiality. I plan to report your office to the Better Business Bureau and the California Board of Dentistry. Dr. Tong and the staff are all very friendly. They accept our insurance and we were able to learn more about the cost before committing.
