If you have a child with you and you need to get dental work...don't bring them here you'll waste…read moreyour time. I've been to 3 dentist office in 4 years and I'm always asked if my son will be with me. I understand there's sometimes kids who don't behave but don't assume my child is one of them. And when I tell you my kid is a calm kid then you need trust and see how it goes afterwards. I get to the front desk and First Lady asks if I have someone to watch him. Which is a common question and I assure her that he's a calm kid and he'll be fine and she says okay. My son wasn't making any noise, wasn't running around. And no, I don't have someone to watch him because mother works and I work in the afternoon. It's the only time I can take care of my needs. Then I have nurse come by to tell me we need to do X-rays and if I have someone to watch him. Again I say no I don't but he can stay off to the side while I'm doing the X-rays. I get it, it's radiation. Me and him have done this before he knows what to do. She tells me to hold on while she asks and proceeds to take 10 minutes doing whatever it was she was doing (does it take that long to ask a question?) and approaches me and just says okay I'm ready for you. Well I assumed we were good and I tell my son who is calmly sitting down watching a movie on my phone to walk with me. As we're walking some other lady receptionist gets up (mind you she's in the back and not sure what her Tuesday was like but girl sit down) and tells me oh he can't go back there... I'm taken a back trying to figure out what the hell is going on and what's the big issues I thought this was sorted out. I start arguing with them we already went over this and she says because we don't want him running around and I'm telling you're assuming he's like that, look at him..he's doing nothing but standing next to me. So I have him, a 3 YEAR OLD... sit down by himself in the waiting area meanwhile I thought I was just gonna do the X-rays and then I could bring him back there. Nope. We go to a room where they have two chairs and I said oh are we doing the x rays here and the mute nurse says yes and then cleaning and I said okay well can I bring him after the X-rays and she says no we can't. So basically I was gonna leave him out there by himself the whole time. I asked what's the big deal, why can't I just have him sit there...of course another nurse intercedes and starts telling me AGAIN..well we don't want him running around... Guys! Communicate...hell man...I've been through this at other offices. They accommodate. Okay. Not every kid is the same. Don't assume. Me and him have done this before. He knows to just sit and chill. And "Business owner" don't tell me to call relations just so you guys don't get real feedback here for everyone else to see knowing relations isn't gonna do crap about these ladies attitudes. My wife is an employee at Loma Linda University and I did not choose to go here. Business owner, the front office has my number if you'd like to contact me. They know who I am. They won't forget this interaction and neither will I.

The treatment has made a huge difference and has truly helped fix my problem. I strongly regret choosing Lifetime Dental in San Bernardino and feel obligated to warn others…read moreabout my experience. The dental work I received was unacceptable and had to be corrected by another dentist. That alone speaks volumes. I have some background knowledge in dentistry -- enough to recognize when work is done properly and when it is not -- and the treatment I received fell far below professional standards. No patient should have to pay twice to fix work that should have been done correctly the first time. What was even more disappointing was the behavior of the front office staff. When I called to explain why I was unhappy with my last visit, why I will not be booking again ever. The woman I spoke with immediately became passive-aggressive and argumentative. Instead of listening or attempting to resolve the issue, she dismissed my concerns and spoke to me as though she had personally performed the procedure herself. It was defensive, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. Patients deserve to be heard -- not challenged or belittled. The only positive part of my experience was the dental hygienist, who was kind and professional. Unfortunately, that was not enough to outweigh the poor quality of dental work and the careless customer service. I will not be returning to this office and will be contacting my insurance provider regarding my experience. I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options before seeking treatment here. Also to avoid their $95 cancellation fee just don't schedule here at ALL.

I've been going to Hospital Eyecare Center for about 9 years and I absolutely love Dr. Fletcher!…read moreShe's very sweet, informative and always makes me feel comfortable. Sad to say, I don't foresee myself returning back to this office because of the staff. I used to receive either an email or a call every year to inform me about my annual eye exam and they would schedule me an appointment. This year I didn't receive any of that and when I called to get one scheduled, they told me that I only had a "home" number on file which is why they couldn't send anything (which doesn't make sense because they've emailed me before AND called me). However, that didn't really bother me because I assume there process has changed, new staff members and/or they could be using a new system. The representative got me scheduled for an appointment and asked if my insurance changed and I did inform her it changed but needed to locate the new insurance info and would call back. I called back and provided her with my insurance info. - Exactly 5 days before my appointment, I actually went into there office to 1) verify that everything was all settled with my insurance 2) view some of the glasses I would soon pick out when I come in for my appointment and 3) request one pair of contacts as a courtesy since I was on my last pair of contacts and one contact ripped. The staff member at the front desk CONFIRMED that everything is good to go with my insurance and was nice enough to give me one pair of contacts. -- About 1 hour before my appointment I received a call from Hospital Eyecare Center about my insurance, which puzzled me because I thought it was all settled. She wanted to know if I had PPO insurance, I confirmed that it was and she told me that they accept PPO so I'm fine. -- I walk in the office the exact time of my appointment and the women at the front desk was still trying to get clarification on my insurance. I wasn't worried because I was told more than once that my insurance was covered. After 8-10 mins another representative comes to me to inform that my insurance is actually not covered and that they don't take the "PPO" insurance I have. I'm not upset at the fact that my insurance wasn't accepted, I was upset at the fact that I called in ADVANCE to schedule my appointment, provided them my insurance, went into the office days before my actual appointment to make sure I was covered and was told my insurance was good to go, but the day I come in for my appointment (mind you I took off from work) they tell me my insurance was NOT covered! I was so furious with them at that moment! I said what I had to say to them and just walked out. My advice to the staff, as soon as a customer schedules their appointment, don't wait until the day of their appointment to fully verify if their insurance is covered or not! That should have been done well in advance. At that moment, I wanted to rate them a 1 star, but that would have only been out of frustration. I think it's fair to rate them a 4, since I've been going to them for so long and didn't have any issues with them in the past, their office is always so clean when I visit and Dr. Fletcher is awesome. I also received an apology call from Debbie, which is appreciated. Other than that, I am disappointed with some of the staff members that were responsible for fully verifying my coverage.
