So whenever anyone needed recommendations for home improvement, we always turned them to 3 Feathers. My dad needed an old patio step demolished and rebuilt. He lives in an HOA so the HOA is very particular about the type of step that can be put in. We trusted Camille and his crew with helping my dad out. We figured he'd be in good hands since we were loyal customers with 3 Feathers. Camille and his crew no-show twice to my dad's house. These were scheduled appointments. The first no-show, we figured that they were just busy and it slipped their mind. Then the second no-show happened. There was no customer service in explaining themselves on why they were no-shows. This was very atypical of the experience that we had with Camille and his crew. After the second no show they never responded and haven't since. That was phone calls and emails. We also had our gutters fixed (last job by them for us) by them and realized that they were leaking in spots. We reached out to them to try to help us with what's going on and once again they ghosted us. So, not sure what's going on with their business. Very sad when we have worked with them so much.

I think it's only fair to share my complete experience. My project started very well. Erik was knowledgeable, professional, and responsive throughout the sales process. He answered my questions and gave me confidence that any issues would be addressed. Unfortunately, after installation several problems developed. The flat roof around my screen door was installed in a way that prevented the door from opening properly, and an initial repair created a gap that allowed rain and bugs inside. Roofing membrane also remained exposed, permanently damaging my family's nearly 70-year-old American flag. Despite being told the property had been magnetically swept, my gardener later filled a bucket with roofing nails and debris left in my landscaping. Most frustrating of all was the lack of communication as these issues remained unresolved. UPDATE: Once owner Keith Powers became personally involved, everything changed. He personally inspected the project, sent his A-Team to correct the problems, and made sure the doorway was rebuilt properly, sealed correctly, and even returned to adjust the screen door until it fit perfectly. He also came up with a thoughtful solution for my damaged family flag by installing a flagpole and presenting me with a beautiful new American flag, preventing future damage from the roofing membrane. No construction project is perfect. What matters is how a company responds when problems arise. While I wish the issues had been handled sooner, Keith Powers ultimately stood behind his work, corrected every concern at no additional cost, and earned back my confidence. They told us about the guarantee on their own carpet line that allows a "re-do" if you are not satisfied with the carpet for any reason. We kind of laughed, because we couldn't imagine anyone doing that, but it ended up that we weren't happy with our choice and when we asked them if we could replace it with another color, they were completely gracious about it. Their installers were really skilled and did a great job. We will definitely return to Carpet One when we new flooring for other parts of our house.

I have had Main Floor Carpet One Floor & Home (on Main St in Royal Oak) complete projects in my business, rental condo, and now my home and have had very positive experiences each time. I've had vinyl wood planking, carpet, carpet "squares," and now vinyl tile installed. The process from choosing materials, measurements, ordering, installation has been smooth without any unpleasantness. I do think that I'm easy to work with and that may be the reason I have had no issues. I'm very happy with the experiences I've had with this business.

Mike showed up and was able to diagnose the problem, clean the fireplace and fix the problem, and was in and out of my house within an hour. The cost was $400, when I called on the phone they said costs usually started at $200, but this was fine by me because I believe he had to replace a part and do a bit more work to get the fireplace to work. They do take credit cards and there are no fees to use one, also. Based on this experience I would absolutely use Ace Fireplace again if I was having fireplace issues.

We had raised flower beds made with decorative retaining wall bricks that became uneven and out of alignment over 20 years. Time for an update. We had Joe out in early spring to take measurements and make the estimate. What a guy, but I would expect nothing less from Sal and his crew! Sal and his team arrived in July and started working, tearing out the old beds including plant materials. Forms were made, concrete was poured and finished, all on day one. Next day they returned to expose the aggregate, stain and seal everything up. Beautiful result completed in just two days. Amazing work!
