We came to John with a list of what I thought was competing considerations figuring if he hit 75% of them we'd be happy. The design that he presented absolutely knocked it out of the park. He took into account the ascetics of the neighborhood, local wildlife, etc. The design was just incredible. He also worked directly with our HOA to ensure that everything was up to their requirements. Once the project started he gave us a 2 week estimate (it was a big renovation) and they finished right on time. The crew was through and respectful. In fact, at the same time the cable company came to relay some wires and Manny (John's foreman) made sure the crew buried the cable and added protective covers. They worked with us in a complete redesign of our front yard, including providing some great advice on our separate front porch project. We purchased our home in August 2017 and immediately experienced a drainage problem in our driveway and to the side of the house. We attempted to cleaned out the existing drains but the problem persisted. During heavy rain storms and the arrival of Hurricane Irma, we realized we had a major problem. (Note to homebuyers: ask current homeowners if they have any drainage problems. The previous homeowners never mentioned there was a drainage problem and nothing was listed in the inspection report). The drainage problem did not start when we bought it in August 2017, it was a problem that was ongoing for a long time. After meeting with several companies, I decided to go with John Madison Landscaping. We are very pleased with the outcome and the problem has been resolved, thanks to John and his crew. (BTW, when the old drainage system was removed it was 100% clogged and the pipes were not joined together). A new drainage system was installed and Genelle (great employee) did an outstanding job overseeing the project, along with the crew. They suggested several modifications to the drainage situation, which helped in correcting the problem and making the area look much better, especially with new pavers. John and his team did an outstanding job and I highly recommend them for any landscaping or drainage needs. read more

Made an appointment with this firm. The "landscaper" showed up late, was not well informed about plants ( his answer to everything was " I don't know") Sat in his truck, parked in front of house for 3 hours and drew a design that had noting to do with our discussion with him. Never called back with an estimate. Wasted our entire afternoon. Avoid them at all costs!!! read more
