Terrible service. He pretty much told me I wasn't worth his time. Referred me to book instead of helping. And no, he wasn't busy.

I have been involved with the Numismatic (Rare coin) markets beginning in the early 80's. Simply put ... be cautious

We have been going to Bad Madge for 5 years now and it is one of the best shops in San Diego! If…read moreyou love vintage you need to check this store out. They have vintage furniture, clothing, glassware, tiki glasses, and plenty of new/vintage inspired items! Fantastic curation going on here and everything is beautifully arranged. We had been eyeing two chairs made by local South Park furniture maker Jose Eguez! These chairs are Caribbean Rosewood and they are perfect! Tanya helped us out with making our decision and delivered them today to our North Park condo. Tanya has impeccable customer service, her team who works at Bad Madge are also kind, welcoming, and helpful. We love these chairs! Cannot wait to have these chairs for years to come. The workmanship on these is so impressive. Before you buy from some mass produced furniture shop online try shopping local and support Bad Madge! The pricing is more than reasonable compared to pottery barn or crate and barrel. The winter South Park walkabout is coming up and let me tell you Christmas at Bad Madge is well worth checking out.

On our way to a consignment store we saw this place and decided to check it out…read more Walking in we saw a sign that there's 65 multiple vendors in this place. So it was neat that each vendor had its on cubicle-like space that was unique. We really enjoyed checking out each space and finding so many vintage and unique items. The prices were also reasonable and fair. We spent so much time looking through the place to make sure we didn't miss anything. This entire "mall" was very organized and clean which made it a good shopping experience. As far as service, when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, we didn't interact with any staff/vendor so I can't say anything about that. Overall, a very neat place to find unique items that'll take you back.

I sent this email and never heard back:…read more I shop regularly at the Encinitas Antique Mall. On my last visit, I noticed that a vendor was selling Nazi memorabilia and Confederate currency. When I raised it with the front desk, I was told that management is aware. I understand these objects have historical significance. Still, selling them for profit in a retail setting, with no educational context, effectively commercializes symbols of genocide and slavery. Many major marketplaces, including eBay and Etsy, don't allow Nazi items for exactly this reason. Do you have a vendor policies on this? I'd welcome a response and hope I can keep shopping with you but, honestly, I am shocked that you support these sales.
