The entire Brezniak team went beyond what was necessary in this endeavor. We are most grateful and we recommend this business without reservation.

Frank Joyce and his team at Joyce Funeral Home took tremendous care of my elderly mother in making…read moreand handling arrangements on my father's sudden passing - starting on the Sunday my father passed away, with Frank returning my call that very day. He met with my mother, myself, and another sibling for over 4 hours the next day to obtain the information needed and help my mother decide on her preferences. To be clear, not that much time was needed - but Frank listened attentively and caringly to our various stories and shared some of his own. From our meeting, Frank obtained enough information to put together a lovely draft obituary, which we then augmented. He patiently provided advice and guidance regarding the services to be held and the practicalities. Frank made everything easy - he provided a google drive link for us to upload photos, which his team turned into a video slideshow and digital banner for the wake, collage poster boards for the wake, pages in the guest book, etc. - however, he also offered to scan hard copy photos (even in frames) if that was all we had. They handled everything - even ordering the thank you notes - and it was all lovely - and were thoughtful of my mother's and the family wishes and added comforting touches (for example, arranging for the donation of particularly large flower displays post-service). When the date we selected for the funeral service conflicted with a mass that all (active) priests in the parish were required to attend, Frank reached out to a retired priest he knows to handle the service. I cannot say enough good things about Frank and Joyce Funeral Home.

She had left a garment bag at the funeral home containing all the clothes and mementos she wished to be buried with. He stayed in constant communication with me during the entire process. Dan is compassionate, professional, and detailed oriented. During this stressful time for us, Dan's guidance and support was invaluable.

Recently my father joined my mother, so I called Kathy Doran Boyle right away. She was outstanding to work with. She respected our wishes, addressed our concerns and provided ideas and recommendations we didn't know we needed. My father was a veteran, and she was very knowledgeable about the benefits he was entitled to and even helped us with the paperwork. We planned the funeral service at a location she had never worked with before, but she was happy to accommodate us. The wake was comfortable and met all our requests. The funeral also was just what we planned. She kept in touch all along the way with how plans were progressing, what she needed from us and what we could expect. She made our lives easier by providing prayer cards, thank you notes and a guest book. The funeral home itself is in an easy to find location, it is well-maintained and decorated, and there is plenty of parking.

Mum & I wanted to dress Dad & Kevin Barile was there with such kindness to help us do this. Now Mum passed on January 29th 2021. I even recorded her saying " I want to go to Doherty Barile and have Kevin and Ralph take care of me" and she added "Allison, make sure that my eyebrows are on right". From the time she passed at Artis Senior Living of Reading to the time she went to the crematory , I will never forget. Kind calls from Ralph Barile and Kevin Barile to say not to worry about a thing. They came to get and transport Mum at Artis Senior Living of Reading to their funeral home . She was lovingly covered up in a pretty blanket and I walked out with John who transported her to the funeral home with great dignity. I once again participated in dressing her along with Kevin Barile who was wonderful . I'd wanted to put some additional touches of her favorite - perfume, lancome & lipstick - chanel of course! During the worst time of a låoss of a loved one I can't ever be more grateful for the beautiful experience I have had with losing both parents and especially my Mother, Margaret. I was able to be "hands on" and that comforted me so. And my Mum looked absolutely beautiful. She looked just as if she was going to work at Lord & Taylor and not skipping a beat. The best I think was when I submitted Mum's obituary and I looked online for her obituary & I gasped! There was Mum's picture with the Burlington Lord & Taylor building right behind her! Just amazing! And what a beautiful thing for them to do. I had only happy thoughts from then on. I do hope that you don't need their services anytime soon. But if the worst happens you will start to heal the moment you call Barile Funeral Homes.

He is not a dress up person and was supposed to be wearing something casual. They put him in a suit which was not what he wanted. On the day of the wake/funeral I arrived and none of the staff greeted me. Eventually when someone showed up it was to take my coat and then disappeared. When my brothers set it up we were supposed to have two of us do eulogies as well as a priest. They did a horrible job before the wake started and didn't introduce themselves or ask about the family. (Just ushered them in the room where my Dad was and I was already in there and spent the whole wake. When it came time for the eulogies and the priest, the priest was the only one who introduced himself and asked things about my Dad. The priest did an amazing job summing up my Dads life and blessing him. After that someone came in (Remember NOBODY from Keefe even introduced themselves.) came in and announced the service was over and to head outside for the procession to the cemetery. Then to make matters worse they didn't have the family members go first, they just waved everyone on. At the cemetery they didn't even tell everyone where to pull up and park. Again the person from Keefe just announced the priest was going to do a quick prayer and announced where we were going afterward. So unprofessional and I will never use or recommend this place to anyone. So unprofessional and uncaring. My Dads final day was horrible. Wish I could give zero stars.

From the very beginning the director/owner, Skip, was knowledgeable, understanding and kind. He provided guidance when his experience knew we needed it, and was extremely flexible on the family's needs as well. We didn't realize at the start of the process many funeral homes work closely with particular churches. Eaton has close relationships with several religious organizations in the community, and was the most flexible on helping find the right place for a service while respecting secular/agnostic view points. Throughout our services Eaton was very well staffed, helpful and kind. We can't recommend them more highly.
