Eaton has close relationships with several religious organizations in the community, and was the most flexible on helping find the right place for a service while respecting secular/agnostic view points. I was referred to speak with Bob Timmerman at Eaton Funeral Home while my mother was receiving…read morehospice care in her home. Bob listened to my mother's wishes and never tried to sell us anything in excess of the modest services we required. The service involved transporting my mother in a hearse from Needham, MA to Iselin, NJ. Bob was there every step of the way. He and a colleague came to bring my mother to the funeral home at 5AM and treated my mother gently and respectfully. He actually drove the hearse himself and remained for the entire graveside ceremony. I am currently in a lot of pain and attended the burial in a wheel chair. I was terrified of the wheelchair tipping over on the uneven ground of the cemetery but Bob, who is a large and strong man, took control of my wheelchair and skillfully got me to the graveside. He told me after the burial, that ours one of the most wonderful of the services he'd witnessed. Ours was very modest, with friends and family speaking from their heart about my mother, some with prepared scripts, some just impromptu. Also, my mother wanted a simple pine box but the coffin was actually attractive and we were surprised that they'd taken that much care with it. Everything went as smoothly as we could have asked for. I recommend Eaton Funeral Home and Bob Timmerman in particular.

My Dad passed Jan 2025…read more Right now I'm currently homeless so I let my brothers talk to Keefe for services as my Dad wanted them to handle it. My Dad's wishes weren't even considered. He is not a dress up person and was supposed to be wearing something casual. They put him in a suit which was not what he wanted. On the day of the wake/funeral I arrived and none of the staff greeted me. Eventually when someone showed up it was to take my coat and then disappeared. When my brothers set it up we were supposed to have two of us do eulogies as well as a priest. They did a horrible job before the wake started and didn't introduce themselves or ask about the family. (Just ushered them in the room where my Dad was and I was already in there and spent the whole wake. When it came time for the eulogies and the priest, the priest was the only one who introduced himself and asked things about my Dad. The priest did an amazing job summing up my Dads life and blessing him. After that someone came in (Remember NOBODY from Keefe even introduced themselves.) came in and announced the service was over and to head outside for the procession to the cemetery. Then to make matters worse they didn't have the family members go first, they just waved everyone on. At the cemetery they didn't even tell everyone where to pull up and park. Again the person from Keefe just announced the priest was going to do a quick prayer and announced where we were going afterward. So unprofessional and I will never use or recommend this place to anyone. So unprofessional and uncaring. My Dads final day was horrible. Wish I could give zero stars.

Our local one came in with the cheapest cremation costs. A friend recommended Casper and it was almost half the cost from what our family funeral home quoted us. That was with a discount as well! I called Casper about 2 months beforehand and they were very detailed and provided all the info that was needed. I had multiple phone calls with them and they were able to assist me even though I was in California. I mostly spoke with Jake and Colton during this process. When I arrived Saturday was the only day I could go down and we had a snowstorm the day prior. Roads were pretty bad and they were able to accommodate me even though they had a service going on. Parking can be a nightmare there, I parked a few blocks away near a barber shop. I would recommend this place to everyone!! I was truly blown away by their service and empathy.

But Eunice and Allan were so patient, compassionate, professional. I was so touched by how much they knew about Chinese culture to make sure families feel good that their loved ones are blessed by all the good Karma. Since then, I come here every February to visit my friend's child. I always want to check in at the office to see Eunice and Alan. It always touches me that Eunice remembers the child's name, remembers my connection to the child. Their warm smile, calm and smoothing demeanor carry that genuine love and care for people in this world and next. Today, Eunice gave me her golden rabbit statue because it is Chinese New Year time. I am very touched. Thank you, Eunice, for bringing love and care to a sad occasion.
