Our local one came in with the cheapest cremation costs. A friend recommended Casper and it was almost half the cost from what our family funeral home quoted us. That was with a discount as well! I called Casper about 2 months beforehand and they were very detailed and provided all the info that was needed. I had multiple phone calls with them and they were able to assist me even though I was in California. I mostly spoke with Jake and Colton during this process. When I arrived Saturday was the only day I could go down and we had a snowstorm the day prior. Roads were pretty bad and they were able to accommodate me even though they had a service going on. Parking can be a nightmare there, I parked a few blocks away near a barber shop. I would recommend this place to everyone!! I was truly blown away by their service and empathy.

You were not supposed to have certain things out, but we have noticed within the past six months that the people with the ground headstones put whatever They want out including glass flags (which my grandfather who is in Pearl Harbor, his American flag gets taken every time we put it up) we went today on Mother's Day and there were people having a full blown block party with a barbecue and music. I understand this certain types of celebration of life, but there is a time in place in a cemetery is not the place. It was extremely disrespectful gutwrenching and beyond upsetting to the point where I was crying I have complained about this before and nothing has gotten done we can't put out simple things that are in the rules without being taken Yet the people with the ground headstones can do whatever they like. So I would like to know how much extra I would have to pay to have my stuff be able to stay because I don't see any other option. This is both me and my father's plots as well and to see what the future has to hold is absolutely sickening.

From our very first call late on a Saturday night, Leo Spano responded promptly and guided us through every step with professionalism, patience, and kindness. Leo's attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine compassion made a difficult time easier for our family. He ensured that every detail--from the preparation and presentation to the church service and burial--was carried out beautifully. Our family wishes to sincerely thank Leo for his outstanding service and support. He is truly an invaluable member of the Gately Funeral Home team.

However, Leo…read moreand the entire team at Gately Funeral Home provided an exceptional level of care and professionalism that brought our family great comfort during this painful time. From our very first meeting, it was clear that Leo is deeply dedicated to his work. He told us that he only has one opportunity to do things right, and he truly lived up to that promise. Leo was compassionate, honest, and transparent throughout the entire process. He never attempted to upsell us or pressure us into unnecessary purchases. Instead, he asked about our budget and helped us find ways to stay within it. He even mentioned that we could purchase certain items elsewhere, though he often offered better prices himself. His integrity and empathy were evident in every interaction. Leo provided his personal cell phone number and responded promptly to every question or concern we had. Because my father's passing was unexpected, he first had to go through the medical examiner. During that time, Leo kept us updated regularly and contacted me immediately once my father arrived at the funeral home. We felt confident that my father was being cared for with the utmost respect and dignity. The wake and funeral services were beautifully arranged. Since my father was a Navy veteran, Leo ensured that he received full military honors. When the two representatives performing the flag ceremony did not fold the flag correctly, Leo personally offered to have it redone properly and delivered it to my mother's home a few days later -- a gesture that meant a great deal to our family. At the cemetery, a miscommunication caused confusion regarding the burial plot. While the issue was ultimately with the cemetery, Leo went above and beyond once again, offering to bring my father back to the funeral home until everything was resolved. His concern and advocacy stood in stark contrast to the cemetery's suggestion to "leave the vault out overnight." Ultimately, the cemetery resolved the issue by removing a tree that was in the way -- something we thought would take months -- but thanks to Leo's persistence, it was completed within a week. I cannot thank Leo and the staff at Gately Funeral Home enough for their compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail. They treated our family with kindness and my father with the respect he deserved. I wholeheartedly recommend Gately Funeral Home to anyone in need of funeral services. They truly go above and beyond in every way.

This line of business I can only imagine is very difficult, but the way Mr. Hutchins presented himself during the arrangements, services and after the services made me and my family feel like he was part of our family. The entire staff was very polite, understood the difficult circumstances but at the same time had a level of caring and professionalism that seemed genuine. Just the small things that are very noticeable like assisting some of our older relatives up and down the stairs, assisting them with their cars. Small gestures like these aren't always noticed, but they go a long way for me, my wife and our family. The professionalism was outstanding; it made these difficult times much more manageable for my family and I. I will say that the parking situation can be difficult, especially the day of the funeral, but the staff was well organized, experienced and seemed to have handled the transportation situation well considering the location (Mass Ave in Arlington) and the time of day (work day morning). When the passing of a family member occurs, I will always use and strongly recommend the services of Rogers and Hutchins Funeral Home. When my wife and I were in that difficult and confusing situation a few years ago we were both nervous, intimidated and scared. We asked for help and assistance from family, they gave us the number and names; making that call removed so much of the anxiety and stress that go hand and hand with this difficult time. Most of my communications have been with Robert (Mr. Hutchins), Robert and Mr. Rogers are both very kind and know how to handle and work with families during these difficult times that we all have.

And he will cover all court fees. In his business I expect compassion, integrity, and adult communication skills.
