This time, I purchased a very nice pair (tho expensive) of glasses and was very happy with them... frames included! I knew I was probably out of luck, but I called anyway, wondering if they thought they might be able to repair the damaged glasses. The receptionist was VERY nice, and asked me to bring them in, and they would check them out. I left them there, and a few hours later, I got a call, telling me they indeed were able to repair them. I came in, they had me sit to get 're-fitted'. A little touch up here and there, and they were perfect! Yea!! The kicker?? They repaired them *perfectly* for No Charge! Is that Customer Service or not!?? Go there!

I've had so many memories of some of the staff helping me pick out frames and providing an outside opinion! I recently had an exam with Dr. Laschen, and she was fantastic. I'm not someone who likes to talk a lot during any type of appointment, and it seemed like she was quick to pick up on that. I was in and out in a breeze. When I picked up my glasses today, the staff were super understanding of how specific I like my glasses to fit and were able to nearly replicate the shape of my old glasses.

After 25 years I will no longer a patient here. Ordered glasses and the script was incorrect for…read moreboth eyes. Went back for a re-examination. Told them I no longer wanted the transition lenses since both lenses needed to be remade and to order standard lenses for the replacement script. I was told this could not be done! "I'm sorry but that's our policy"...wow, last thing I care about is their policy which made absolutely no sense. I then asked for a refund and was told I would be charged for a 25% restocking fee of, get this, not just the price of the glasses, but the total cost of the glasses and the exam. Given it was their fault for the poor initial exam, you would think they might try to be a little more gracious. No chance, policy can't be broken or even bent a little! Another observation... the glasses and exam came to almost $600 and these were not designer frames or anything fancy. I now realize that this clinic absolutely over charges for glasses! Look online and get better products for 1/3 the price and if you have an issue they will take the product back to support customer satisfaction...not this place. As they will exclaim, " it's our policy".

1 Star - Morrison Eye Clinic (Delavan, WI)…read more Very frustrating experience trying to schedule an appointment here. I needed to renew my contact lens prescription because my current contacts are getting pretty old. A few days ago, I used Morrison Eye Clinic's online chat scheduling system and received what looked like a confirmation for an appointment at 4:30 PM. The chatbot gave the appointment time and confirmation message, and I even copied the message and pasted it into my calendar so I wouldn't forget. What I didn't notice at the time was a small line of text underneath saying they would call to confirm the appointment and that if you don't hear back, it's your responsibility to follow up. When a system sends a message confirming a specific appointment time, most people would assume the appointment is actually scheduled. Burying that requirement in fine print is misleading. When I showed up for my 4:30 PM appointment, the staff told me there was no appointment in their system. They also said they didn't have any record of the chat conversation from a few days earlier when the appointment was supposedly scheduled. So in the end, I drove there for an appointment that apparently never existed and still need to get my prescription renewed. If the clinic cannot properly support online scheduling, they shouldn't offer it. Recommendation for others: call the clinic directly and do not rely on their online scheduling system.

Family eye Care of Woodstock Illinois (same owner, same business) charged a contact fitting fee…read morethat should not have been assessed. At that time I raised an objection, because I had never paid that fee in five years with the same insurance carrier. They now fully admit the mistake, but are offering no remediation. They advised me to call my insurance carrier. This is not their problem to fix, it is the optometrist's office. I have made now, three attempts to rectify this. Once while present, twice via phone. They are refusing to refund the cost that they fully admit we should never have been charged. Comically they suggested that I should have known that we shouldn't be charged that fee. I responded that I did know that, that's why I objected in the office, when it was presented. Once the circular reasoning starts, there is no point in continuing a conversation. Keep your money. I hope not having returning customers is worth it to you.
