I brought my 80 year old father who has been suffering from severe…read morehealth conditions that have made it difficult for him to consistently treat what has become horrible fungus on his toenails. We were seen by Dr. Tan and he made very little effort to get to know my dad before taking out clippers (which did not come from any kind of a sterile wrapper) and extremely aggressively chopping off big chunks of my dads toenails. My dad was repeatedly saying "ow" because Dr. Tan was hurting him and he made him bleed in both of his big toes even though he knew he's on blood thinners. No antiseptic, no topical pain meds, no warning that it would hurt. His home health nurse was shocked when she saw them. On top of that, he didn't make any effort to file or shape his toe nails (they're just basically clipped in big sharp chunks - see pictures) and essentially told us there's nothing can do to treat the fungus. So we drove an hour there from my dad's house just to have his nails hacked off and not be offered any real solutions (except a cream he said would probably not help) and leave in more pain than he arrived The whole experience was actually shocking and I felt terrible for my elderly dad - his toes are still hurting since yesterday.
