Very nice set up. Nice office lady.

The Dr is nice and confident in his profession. I am looking forward to having him operate on my foot and hopefully get me back to where I used to be and not have pain during my days. Also the office staff is very nice.

I was told that I needed surgery for tendon repair of my ankle, 6 to 8 weeks to heal, and then go…read moreback under for full ankle replacement. My doctor was too far away, so I found one closer, Walter D'Costa. He suggested stem cell treatment as an alternative. It cost, but my results have been nothing short of miraculous! The "crunchies" I felt in my ankle joint, that had made me wince with every step, are gone! All I can say is it feels "happy". I think I will still need the tendon repair, but the minimal invasion of an injection is by far superior to cutting bone and replacing with metal! This is the hugest game changer for me! My genetics show a series of joint failures (cartilage loss), with repeated surgeries punctuating my life. Now I can live my life, with way less pain, and with less surgeries and recoveries! Thank you Dr. D'Costa for helping me to a better life!

I'm honestly pretty shocked. I brought my 80 year old father who has been suffering from severe…read morehealth conditions that have made it difficult for him to consistently treat what has become horrible fungus on his toenails. We were seen by Dr. Tan and he made very little effort to get to know my dad before taking out clippers (which did not come from any kind of a sterile wrapper) and extremely aggressively chopping off big chunks of my dads toenails. My dad was repeatedly saying "ow" because Dr. Tan was hurting him and he made him bleed in both of his big toes even though he knew he's on blood thinners. No antiseptic, no topical pain meds, no warning that it would hurt. His home health nurse was shocked when she saw them. On top of that, he didn't make any effort to file or shape his toe nails (they're just basically clipped in big sharp chunks - see pictures) and essentially told us there's nothing can do to treat the fungus. So we drove an hour there from my dad's house just to have his nails hacked off and not be offered any real solutions (except a cream he said would probably not help) and leave in more pain than he arrived The whole experience was actually shocking and I felt terrible for my elderly dad - his toes are still hurting since yesterday.

He took the time to get into the nitty gritty of my post Lapidus Bunionectomy journey and gave me a clear step-by-step path of how to proceed in my healing. He included detailed information on orthotics, healing practices to be more consistent with, a well-laid path for building up to running and suggested a CT scan to rule out any non-union at my incision site or any hardware issues that my X-rays or MRI might not have detected. He also took the time to thoughtfully and sensitively let me know I might not be the best candidate for custom orthotics. I ended the call feeling incredibly heard, honored and taken care of. Thank you Dr. Segler.

I began laser treatment on my nails with him and as many of those treatments showed no improvement he performed total nail avulsion (ripped nails out). Now my nails are completely ruined for life. I spent almost $2k with him and every time I see my nails I fully regret the day I met him. I would have been much better off had I not done anything to my nails. Don't be lured with his marketing and web site. Do your own research. Laser treatment doesn't work for most people - save your money. And, certainly don't have anyone remove nails unless it is causing pain or other issues. At the of the day, be wary of fast-talking doctors. This doctor is more interested in his own fitness, podcasts and buying real estate (just ask him or do a search online first). I'm sure he does well with older ladies out there who need someone to talk to, but now my nails are 90% worse than when I started. He really is a doc on the run. Check out his "medical" credentials before you engage him.
