A nice gift shop, fairly large and a good variety of different items. Obviously, this is perfect if you're a Deere aficionado or collector. For a general family visit, I wouldn't bother unless you have a specific interest in Deere. As far as corporate gift stores go, it wasn't too overpriced either. I even found a few clearance items! They have a penny squisher machine if you're into flat pennies. Pro tip: The hours for the Gift Shop and Pavillion are different, so make sure you know both are open before you go (if you want to see both). read more

In this giant store that is everything John Deere, I stood drooling at the toy tractors. This is where all the grown men stood. They all looked like farmers or at least men who knew their way around machinery. Me? Nope. I'm no farmer and I've never been on a John Deere tractor. My grandfather was a farmer who had tractors that were unbelievably old, unreliable, and wild safety hazards. Maybe that's why I bought a bunch of toys without any idea of what I'll do with them... after I play with them through the holiday season. read more

John Deere Store - Men's Clothing Near Me - Moline, Illinois

This is an amazing store! John Deere is a well known brand and has been for 175 years. Deere customers are very loyal, and any time I've visited the John Deere Pavilion and the John Deere Store, I've encountered farmers or construction guys who came to this, the shrine of John Deere. After visiting the Pavilion, the John Deere Store is just a short walk across a (covered) plaza. One might expect a branded souvenir or two, but this store is loaded with things you never dreamed would have a John Deere logo on it. Bookshelves are topped with riding toys, some are traditional pedal cars and some are powered. one is even a tractor with a back hoe and a front end loader. There are toy lawn mowers, string trimmers, chain saws, trains, trucks, tractors, trailers and combines, all in John Deere green or white with proper indicia. You've never seen so many hats, golf shirts, t-shirts, jackets and pants, all with the familiar John Deere logo. Over in the corner, you'll find thermometers, rain guages, suspenders, license plates, travel mugs and playing cards, all sporting the familiar logo. If you're an owner of any kind of John Deere equipment, whether it's lawn tractor, log harvester, baler, construction loader or a giant combine, you need to make a pilgrimage to the John Deere Pavilion, and while you're there, be sure to visit the John Deere Store for just the right souvenir to remember your visit. read more

This was a nice gift shop. Even though they were out of the miniatures of the Waterloo boy and the spoker d, we made some decent purchases. Oddly enough, the prices were really good. They could have made it a tourist trap and charged way more money, but they chose not to. The staff there were also very nice and helpful. read more

Are you looking for something..."John Deere"? Look no further. They've got everything here...accept the tractors. Well...who know's...maybe you can order a combine or two from a catalog. OK...no you can't...but really...they've got alot of Deere swag here. Di-cast tractors, plastic ones, shirts, hats, pencils, coozies, clocks, scales, wall art, belts, ashtrays, magnetic nut trays (not that kind...if there is that kind...ugh...people nowadays), playing cards, snow globes, burgers, hoodies, toys, baby clothes, ponies, bratwurst, beer...and so on and so on. OK...maybe not all of those...but a lot more than just those. Come on in and buy a bunch of stuff for the family. Nothing's more American than John Deere...and Nothing Runs Like A Deere...except a cheetah. I'm pretty sure cheetahs are faster than deer. read more

Good store with a variety of items revolving largely around clothing and, of course, toy versions of a huge variety of their tractors and trucks. I'm torn between a 3 or a 4 on this. It's certainly helped by being right next to the awesome John Deere Pavilion where my kids had a blast. And the store was clean and service was good and we were excited to even find a penny smasher there too! That all said, I think we were likely pretty common shoppers there, going in after letting our kids climb up in to these huge and neat machines next door. Both my son and daughter wanted to get some toy versions to take home. My son was hugely disappointed that there were NO loose (out of package) toy trucks to play around with and test out how they drove etc. The pavilion had had a great variety of them he'd played with earlier! So, I guess you could argue, why would the store need to have them out then? Because when he played with them 20 minutes ago, we were just playing and not thinking which we might buy or what our favorites were. It's nice to be able to hold something in your hand and get a sense of it before buying it. I'm not sure why the store couldn't have some of these out too. (They'd probably sell even more by kids grabbing and begging their parents for more specific ones!). On our end, we choose eventually almost entirely on price. Price is the other thing I'd take off at least a half star for. I doubt that this store is particularly overpriced but I feel like the John Deere toy trucks are. We buy lots of different plastic and die cast toys and models, but never for that much. They are definitely well-made and I get that some of them are likely meant more for collectors than for a little kid toy, but then, why not make a cheaper, less precise/detailed line of trucks specifically for the purpose of being toys? I picked up an excavator that was about 6" big that my son would love. Luckily, right before I showed it to him I saw the $49.99 price tag and put it back on the shelf. I then went to the smaller trucks and picked two or three under $15 (there were only very few at that price point) little trucks and showed those to my toddler son. He didn't really care a whole lot which one he got, he was just very anxious to play with and drive something. (He kept looking for where the sample trucks to play with would be). His tractor thing was $12.99. I talked my daughter out of getting anything at all, suggesting that everything was way overpriced and she'd probably like something even better to buy later on in the trip. Maybe everyone else knows and is okay with how much these trucks cost before they come here and wouldn't detract Stars from the review for it, but it really did put a damper on the trip. I'd been hoping and expecting to find 2-4 trucks at about $6-$10 each. Instead, we just walked out with the one $13 one. Again though, if my son could have physically touched and played with any of them, I might have been convinced to get 1 or 2 more (not spending more than $20 each at most though). John Deere Store/Pavilion is beautiful! The store had a lot to offer and the staff was so welcoming. Money well spent.
