They heard you like cattle thru the procedures. They older white hair gentlemen that pulls your teeth and his older female helping him were horrible. I told them I was extremely scared of needles. The older man that was going to pull my teeth, stuck me several times for iv, then had three needles stuck in my hand and put my hand right in front of my face to show his rude assistant (older fake blonde lady). Then she sticks me in the other arm. It was so rough I grabbed for her shirt or something because I was having an anxiety attack. She hollared at me " Don't grab me"! No compassion for the patient at all and very rude. They roll you out into a lobby after pulling your teeth with blood all over your face and clothes for everyone to see. Horrible place!!

Over these years he has been so good with my wife and I. He is caring, compassionate, gentle and does a great job. He takes his time with you and is never rushed. From the front desk to the hygienists and his dental assistants... they are awesome. Everyone is so friendly and again so good at what they do. The dentist and the dental hygienists were very nice and professional, HOWEVER, the front office staff was horrible to me insinuating that I was trying to commit insurance fraud which is a FELONY. I have NEVER had anybody accuse me or insinuating anything illegal about me especially since my family and I are quite well known The receptionist and the front office manager (who both should know better if she was good at her job which she's not and should be punished or fired) condescendingly said, "Well here we follow the state law." What is she trying to imply that I don't?! That's insulting and a nasty and unprofessional to say to a patient who is new and you don't know at all. I have a reputation to uphold. Then the office manager continued to be very condescending and nasty to me and said in a suspicious, disrespectful questioning tone, "Is there a reason WHY you don't won't BlueCross Blue Shield being billed as primary?" I was taken aback and very shocked at how disrespected I was. I work for an insurance company and I have a background in management and if I ever treated a customer, patient, client, provider, etc. like this, my boss would have fired me for fear of a lawsuit of a defamation of character or at the very least get written up for abusive or argumentative language because of an office manager and receptionist who do not know how to talk to people. I work everyday where I have to tell callers that my company that I work for has to be billed as primary in order for their medical claims to be paid accordingly, but I speak respectfully and professionally and kindly tell the callers inquiring about their medical claims and how to bill to us and say, "I apologize, but we have to be the primary payers when you bill to us." The office manager, who is blocking me from talking to the owner recently (yes, he may be busy, but I haven't even received a voicemail message from here so here we are). I didn't ask nor wanted any dental coverage from my company that I could not opt out of because I already had dental coverage from Delta Dental Of SC (which I had for YEARS before this current job that I'm not going to have much longer) which I thought I could bill as primary, but the front staff could have been more respectful and addressed me better than insinuating something as serious as Insurance Fraud which is a felony. The front staff is making me question whether or not I want to continue being a patient at this facility because of their unprofessionalism and accusatory language against me and I'm not going to tolerate any disrespect again as a patient who should addressed more respectfully because dental work is not cheap in this country and I am paying a lot of money for a dental service, not for nasty attitudes or behavior all because I had Delta Dental Of SC for years and always had that insurance for years and this job is not permanent for me. I finally gave in after the dentist told me I needed crowns on all my molars and let her do my back molar. I paid $1000 up front in good faith that the work would easily be done. When she worked on my very back molar, she caused nerve damage to where I was in severe pain and sent me to a specialist to see if I could get a root canal before the crown was placed. The specialist told me I basically needed the tooth pulled because my nerves were calcified. I ended up having the tooth pulled due to severe pain and they refused to refund any of my money. So I basically paid $1000 to lose a tooth. Don't go here. They seem nice but all they care about is money. It's a chain dentist office and they have sales goals.

If that's what you lead with, it usually tells you everything you need to know. Then you've got foul language coming from the back. Not constant, but I heard the f-bomb a couple times. That shouldn't even be a possibility in a setting like that. And the biggest thing--cleanliness. The rooms didn't feel sanitary. In a dental office, that's not something you can overlook. Put all that together, and it's not just a bad experience - it's a place that doesn't have its standards together. I won't be going back.

I was not a patient, but escorted my friend to oral surgery. My friend had to wait more than an 90 minutes for surgery and had already taken the prescribed pain tablet 30 minutes prior to the appointment time. It was obvious that the office was overbooked. Unfortunately, my friend was in severe pain immediately after leaving the surgery room. I had to rush to get the meds filled from pharmacy. Moreover, my friend had to pay upfront for the services, which was very pricey. The office staff stated that the paperwork would be sent to the insurance company for reimbursement. My friend checked and checked. After speaking with the insurance company, the dental office failed to send in much needed paperwork after more than a month of surgery. They are quick to get your money, but don't seem to care about you getting reimbursed. They need a complete makeover of their office practices! I would not recommend!
