Beer is reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly and chatty. The centre runs entertainment programmes and normally has some form of music act or personality on over the weekend nights in particular. For me personally it is a place to head down to on a Sunday afternoon to watch the afternoon football and enjoy a quiet sociable pint amongst easy going people in a nice community type atmosphere.

A pretty non-descript building from the outside (like the academy, which shockingly replaced the lovely old Manning school), it could easily be a big Sainsbury's. It is light and airy on the inside though and, as you'd expect from a brand new place, pristine clean. I can't judge the gym as I haven't used it, but the pool was fabulous. On my regular visits to Nottingham I'm used to swimming in the depressingly dark and shabby Arnold Leisure Centre but, as this was shut for renovation (one can only hope that it ends up something like this one after all the work), I was forced to come to Djanogly. A spacious entrance area with plenty of tables and chairs in leads to a mixed sex changing room behind the pool area. I swam one weekday lunchtime when it was fairly quiet; there were two lanes (one fast, one medium) and an open area. It's a shame that the large windows next to the pool are frosted so that there is no view, but I guess it's understandable so that the swimmers aren't overlooked by pupils in the school. I'll definitely be returning.

The community center is always clean , tidy and cared for. It is headquaters to many groups including brownies. A lovely community centre available for the community.

Situated inside the school, it has a swimming pool with flumes, gym, and many different classes, from Salsa to Trampolining. They run many activities for children, and have a full school holiday programme.They also have a cage which sells reasonably priced drinks and snacks. The pool can get a little busy, especially at weekends, and changing room space can be a problem, also, the pool isnt great for swimming lengths, as its a funny shape.
