    I called and scheduled a new patient cleaning after confirming they do take my insurance. I was not…read moretold that they don't do the cleaning the first appointment. My previous experience (Indiana dentist) led me to believe I was getting my teeth cleaned, as when they asked what the appointment was for I said to get my teeth cleaned and checked. I filled out paperwork before arriving, and also provided my insurance card upon check in. I got my X-rays, and then waited for the doc for about 20 minutes, after he looked me over I sat, 2 hours I wait for them to do a check for gingivitis that took 4 minutes and then send me up to the office manager, who THEN tells me they can't verify my insurance or tell me what the cost of the visit is. Two and a half hours after I checked in. Then wanted me to schedule with them not knowing if they take my insurance or cost of services. That is illegal since the no surprises act was passed. If my insurance couldn't be verified, I should have been presented with cost PRIOR to services being administered. I'm canceling my families appointments for next week. Now I will have to pay out of pocket at the next dentist bc they used my one a year that was covered. As someone who works in Medical Insurance billing I'm embarrassed at how the billing staff handled everything start to finish.

    Having problems with vertigo makes having dental work difficult. Needless to say, I was pretty…read morehappy, several years ago, when Dr. Sheets took me on as a new patient. One of his staff has vertigo, and she would, graciously, assist Dr. Sheets with my care during my visits, which was comforting. Life changing events over the past couple of years, resulted in my not seeing Dr. Sheets for care during that time. A couple of months ago, I called to make an appointment with Dr. Sheets, and I was told that Dr. Sheets will no longer see me, because I would be considered a new patient again. He is one of the only dentists I know of who cares for patients who have vertigo, and this is very disappointing. Hopefully, he will reconsider.

    Worst experience ever. My family was told we would be scheduled all together or at most an hour…read morebetween appointments. They instead did them one at a time. We spent 8 hours at the dentists office. I put up with it because they were supposedly covered 100% by insurance. After the appointment I was told I could go but later received a bill for over $200. When I called about it the joke of an "office manager" continued to tell me how the cleaning was so much more intense then any other cleaning. Really? Then why was it exactly like every other cleaning I have ever received? She also said that we had talked about the price and she was sure they had told me it would be more. I'm so glad they wanted me to come back in two weeks and I said no. I will NEVER go back to such a terrible place. Don't lie to your customers and try to get more money then you deserve. I would tell anyone to go somewhere before picking this place. They deserve zero stars.
