However, I was a bit disappointed and disheartened with my visit. My teeth were not in the best shape so I really went to Runion hoping to hear some long-term but reasonable alternatives. That is not what happen. Instead I was told how $10-15,000 of work would be the best option. This is a state of the art facility, but it is definitely not for the common, everyday worker who does not have $10,000-$15,000 to spare. -Whatever happen to reviewing all financial and dental alternatives? -Do dentist have "chairside manners" because if so I didn't get that after I explained that this was not financially feasible at this time. Thank goodness they have polite assistants bc this definitely helps the experience. -I had a tooth pulled and it was I had a hand and a jack hammer in my mouth. They leave patients in pain and ignore them when it is quite obvious via video chat that swelling/pain is still an issue! When patients complain or leave Yelp reviews they further gaslight and blame the patient pretending they are not accountable for their poor decisions/treatment/care. Funny enough, their competition had NO ISSUES AT ALL with keeping me properly informed, well treated during surgery and aftercare was no problem for them... Future responses from this company will be treated with the same response they gave me... "Not my problem if you don't like honest reviews of your poor service!"

We asked the Office Secretory to check with insurance company and get exact what would be covered and how much would be out-of-packet expense, and agreed the out-of-pocket amount would the only (final) amount we pay before we come in for the service, but after everything done and full amount paid, and when insurance decline some of their claims, they kept coming to us to ask for more money, regardless the previous agreement. As a matter of fact, when we asked insurance company, the insurance company keep saying they use the wrong code, I wonder if they were overcharged us or over-claimed, even though we had an oral agreement only responsible for a fixed full amount before start the work. I know how much this costs because I get it every time ($25), so I had it done while waiting to get in at a new dentist. I get the bill and I'm charged $120. They had charged me for a limited evaluation as well as the cancer screening. I had not had ANYTHING additional done and when I called about it they said that's a charge for the dentist stepping into the room to see me. When I called to ask about it, they said they'd call me back. After 5 days of no response, I called again and they pretty much told me to go F myself. I feel deceived and taken advantage of. I would not recommend Hilliard Modern Dental. Please don't go here.
