I called Joe to see what he suggests. The experience from that point on was awesome... His meticulous touch as to the flow of colors and fabrics from one room to the other made me smile from ear to ear. What was even better, was seeing it executed. We haven't had a friend or family member come over and not gush over the regal vibe of our window treatments. (that felt funny to write, but it's so damn true!!). What was also fantastic was the education and hand holding while going through the decision process...

I have been a customer of Laurel Blinds for several years and have given this business my support…read moreand referrals. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I will not be returning. I needed replacement parts for my vertical blinds due to normal wear and tear. I took the blinds and track into the store and had a couple of components replaced. I was told that if I had any further issues, I could bring the track back. The clips holding the blinds continued to break. When I returned, only eight clips were replaced. When I went back again because the clips continued to fail, I was told it would cost another $100 to replace all of the old clips. This was after I had already paid $160 the first time. I explained that I did not feel this was fair, and I was told to leave the track and that "we would work something out." I subsequently received a call early in the morning telling me that the cost would be $100 for the new clips. When I asked how much it would cost to replace just one clip, I was quoted $25 for a single clip. At that point, I declined. When I went in to pick up my track, I was told, "I'm not trying to rob you." However, given the circumstances and the prices I was being quoted, that is certainly how the situation felt to me. I was also handed a piece and told that I might be able to "jimmy" it in somehow. Whether that was intended sarcastically or not, I found the suggestion inappropriate. I brought the track to the business because I expected the business to properly repair it--not to be told to figure out a makeshift solution myself. What disappointed me most was not simply the cost. It was the lack of communication, the change in expectations after I was told we could "work something out," and the way the situation was handled. I supported Laurel Blinds for years and referred other people to the business. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my loyalty as a longtime customer was not valued. After this experience and the customer service I received, I will not be returning or recommending Laurel Blinds.

VJ came to my home the first time and took measurements and next day he reached out and gave me a quote it was very reasonable and I agreed to move forward and we schedule for end of March, with a week to a week in half of work. First day they were on time and came ready to work. I was home with 2 dogs and they made the situation as comfortable as possible. in the evening they all cleaned up and left. Next day same thing on time and did some great work and cleaned up again. We were living with our dogs and kids under construction the cleaning up was very much appreciated. Originally he was not going to do my stairs (I was going to DIY it but thought he should do it) I was so grateful they did my stairs! They came out perfect! I am so happy with the work they put in. He did the molding and shoes all around the house for us. There were a few hiccups with my home (wasn't leveled) VJ gave me straight up view and told me he could do just do the work as is or I can level it for you and he explained everything. I liked that him and the team took pride in their work and I trusted his input and glad I listened. I highly recommend hiring him they did a phenomenal job! My home looks great!

My original plan was to just sand and refinish the floors and stairs. Both stairs and floors were under carpet for decades. The floors were still in decent condition, but the stairs were too damaged.....full of staples and nails. I was hoping the stairs could be saved, but Vijay told it to me straight. They're not salvageable. He knew I was on a budget, so what Vijay did for me was just replace the top part of the stairs (treads) and put a matching piece of wood overlay on the bottom (riser). But it looked like I installed a whole new staircase. Vijay is passionate about his trade and it shows in his work. You can tell he has a lot of experience and loves what he does.
