We have gone to Homegoods for many things over the years. It's usually for kitchenware, furniture and home accents. But it wasn't until we got a puppy that we started noticing that they have an entire section of the store labeled the "pet shop". And this is in every one of their stores. They have many selections of toys and chew toys for dogs. Beds of all kinds for cats and dogs. They also have the essentials like shampoo, pet air freshener, etc. Oh! It's a great place to get doggie treats too. It's just really surprising that they have so much. It's always been there, just never noticed or paid attention till now. The stores are always pet friendly. There's no shortage of puppy and dog lovers shopping there. Cashier's are always looking for a little puppy therapy to! =)

No line. Perfect time to be here.

I really like this location. It has a wide variety of home furnishings to chose from. The front of the store has food items and coffees. Towards the center and back flower items, home office decor, rugs, etc. In the back of the store there are frames and window treatments. The only thing I would change is to add more cashiers for quicker check out. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to pay for items. However everyone is pleasant and helpful so it keeps me coming back. I would definitely check out this location if in the area.

The best stuff of all kinds of stuff would be at Home Goods! I really love this place! There is a little bit of everything. Reasonable prices and clean and fairly tidy. The only thing I do not like is I think the majority of the staff don't have any clue about the store! Many times they have been very unhelpful they walk past a disaster on the floor and don't clean it. They know nothing on the stock and they chat together to much. Very Disappointed! They need to up the employee situation and they will be Perfect!

    A whole bunch of groceries

So many great finds. Just wish the food selection was larger. The cashier said there is usually a wider selection but since the holiday season had just passed there was less. Nonetheless happy with the finds I got. Also, not 1 floor lamp in the lighting section. A little odd. I'd definitely revisit this location if I had intentions of shopping at the shopping center again.

Thanks to Earnest, he located this 'Matisse' art piece I foolishly decided to leave behind and reconsidered the next day. Thank you again!

I had to leave this review, because this person went above and beyond- to help me find an item I left behind the day before and reconsidered. Ernest was super fast, attentive and did more than he really needed to do. Thank you so much! The 'Matisse' art piece. will now have a happy home!

I usually come here once and a while to find things that "fit" in my apt. The thing I like it is ever changing which makes it an exciting experience each time i go. (wish I can go now, need a little change around here after being stuck inside for so long) Just watch what you are buying, sometimes there is some damage or missing parts on items, that has been my experience anyway. One downfall is messy shelves and isles, somtimes they are not passable. But over all a good place to go.

Yeah, HomeGoods. That's right. You know this piece and you know me.

This review relates specifically to the delivery of large furniture. HomeGoods does not deliver furniture. You are responsible for transporting it, OR they will put you in touch with a third party mover called Select Express. This is an expensive, disorganized and confusing process. $100 to deliver one TV console 1 mile from the store. Some employees are not even aware of this service and will vehemently deny it exists. If you go this route be prepared for several days of back-and-forth he said/she said between HomeGoods and Select Express. You pay in full for the furniture at the store and even though HomeGoods tells you they will put it away in the back, it's a lie and they will leave it on the floor for customers to manhandle. I know because I went back a couple of days later to check. Select Express did not deliver my furniture by 10:30 PM and when I called them they lied and said the truck was at the store picking up the piece at that very moment. I said "But the store closes at 9:30 PM." If you decide to cancel everything like I did you will spend several more days trying to get the delivery charge refunded from Select Express. HomeGoods told me that if the piece was not collected within 3 days of payment they will automatically issue a refund. When no refund was issued and I went to the store they treated me like a criminal and said "Well what do you want me to do about it?" and "If the piece is no longer in the store, NO REFUND." - (Thank you Joanne and btw you forgot your meds or perhaps your alcohol that day). The way things went, what if they sold the piece I paid for to another customer? You'd be SOL. In contrast to Joanne, there are a number of very pleasant and helpful employees. I met them all during this tiresome odyssey: Enrique, Ramirez, Olenka and Ozlem. I would still shop here because they have nice things, but I won't buy anything I can't carry myself.

Come to Sunnyside Queens and go to Stray Vintage. I moved into Sunnyside a coupla years ago. As I was walkin around the neighborhood, checkin different locales out, I heard some insanely melodic and soulful music coming from this hole in the wall on the side of a large apartment complex. I walked in and I saw walls and boxes filled with vinyls, antique furniture, vintage 1950s movie posters, Surfboards???!!!! Just a plethora of unique, fun stuff. I immediately knew this was an amazing place that id be frequenting a lot As I wandered around in absolute awe of the amazingness of the place, a tallish cool lookin guy greeted me with a super warm, "Hey man, how can I help you?!" I immediately exclaimed, "This is the coolest freakin shop ever." And so began a quick friendship with the owner and one of the coolest guys in Sunnyside, Danny. Listen I know it sounds like im hyping this place up and guess freakin what...youre absolutely right! Since ive been going to Stray I found out thats its more than just a store. Its a gathering place for all sorts of unique characters and individuals. A meeting place for community where you can talk and just listen to great music. There was too much to look at and so many goods of different brands and styles everywhere. It was hard to go through. Surprisingly, most of the lamps were plastic packaged and not dirty at all! They were brand new! Mostly you see a lot of dirty smudges on products at HomeGoods but in the lighting section the lamps were very clean and brand new. I found some nice goods like a 6 tier mini basket organizer shelf but it was too big for me to carry all the way home and I was about to go to an event before I got here. There was also just 1 large fake fig tree that was very appealing and a nice match to a couch. Not crowded in the midday and lots of parking around it because it is located in the College Point mall. Unexpectedly, the cart locked while still in motion--right in the middle of the roadway--and I was left stuck trying to force the cart to move with my child near moving cars. I couldn't just leave it in the middle of the street as that would also be a hazard. There were no visible warning signs in the parking lot to alert shoppers to this locking system. When I mentioned it to customer service, their reply downplayed the situation as an inconvenience and failed to acknowledge the real safety risk, especially with small children involved.

Stores are located on ground, first and second floors, there are some commercial office spaces too. Parking is available for a fee in either structures or in the spaces directly in front of the stores. There are a fair number of stores for what is essentially a glorified strip mall, it's not quite large enough to make it a serious shopping destination, more of a come-by-for-specific stores kind of place. Of the approximately 50 businesses here, a dozen are commercial offices, another dozen service/utility stores (doctors offices, glasses store, UPS, T-mobile), a Regal Cinemas movie theater, a couple hobby stores (anime/manga, games, Bee's Arts & Crafts), several food/drink spots, some apparel/accessories stores (Foot Locker, Forever 21, TJ Maxx, White House/Black Market, Sacca's Suits), a few sports facilities (swim school, NY Sports Club, karate school, laser tag/bounce family fun center) and two home furnishing stores (Home Goods and Ashley Furniture). Probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here though I can see how it's convenient to have these store nearby for those that live in the area. There's also a HomeGoods, Laser Bounce (arcade), Slime Time, Ulta, Footlocker, an arts & crafts studio, movie theater and a few toy stores. Can definitely be a fun time with kids- the girls even played frisbee & volleyball on the synthetic grass, got bubble tea from Pot Noodle, which was surprisingly good and won some prizes from Laser Bounce too. Not an ideal place for clothing shopping and the parking was quite expensive- $30 for 4 hours but either way, we'll be back :)
