I've used these people before. 1st time was perfect. 2nd time was iffy ( he forgot to call back as promised.) moving day delayed. Okay we all make mistakes. This Third time was a shit show. The crew were very nice and polite. First thing was they broke a glass table top. I was told Jomar would take care of it. Okay, the guys unloading placed boxes marked as Fragile were loaded on the two wheelers at the bottom of the heavy boxes breaking more things. ( I didn't ask for a replacement) fair enough. Now Jomar sends me a text that I was going to get $40 dollars back because of the truck wasn't as expensive as thought. Great well no $40! Had to argue about the table top glass. I had to do all of the running around for him. To get the glass table repaired. $178. So, when he found out the cost. The $40 that was promised was gone off the table. Nope! He lied about it because of the broken glass replacement. You cannot trust him with your own belongings or his word. Never again, subpar service, broken promises and broken belongings. read more

There's a reason these guys are less expensive than the competition and you can expect to get what you pay for. The informed me about a leaking box they had on their truck but rather than ask what to do with it they simply removed it with some other boxes and spilled oil on my new garage floor and driveway. The smashed the corner of a stereo speaker and broke the screen on my tv, rather than do the right thing they have decided to not pay for the tv, it appears my only remedy is small claims court which no one should have to do while trying to get your new house in order. read more

I've been highly unsatisfied... our original date was given to an "existing customer," and after another date was arranged, he cancelled once again nine days before my move on a holiday weekend due to a "special" customer! They finished moving our things into the storage late after dark..went to our storage then next day to move more items in to find our things all scratched up and messed up. Big scrape on top of our chest and scraped and cracked our couch multiple of other things scratched up, not to mention the walls in our house. They stacked our things horribly in the storage so who knows what else is messed up. When I confronted owner he pretty much said to just wipe it down and touch it up. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't of hired PROFESSIONAL movers, which they are far from. It took him 3 days to get back to me and wouldn't return my calls. Finally did via text. There is no way I'm going to be able to fix the big scrape/gash on top of my chest. Definately wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless you want your things scratched up and ruined. I would give them 0 stars but had to give 1. Very disappointing. read more

Jomas and his crew unloaded our trailer quickly, carefully, and efficiently. They inspected the house before unloading to plan routes and identify areas that would need extra care "we'll need to watch for that corner" etc. They asked how we wanted boxes and furniture placed onto the wood floors to help make sure they didn't scrape or scratch our new house. These folks are the absolute BEST! They arrived on time. Jomas was not only polite and professional he personally measured items and determined where the item should be placed in the truck so as to insure we were able to place as many items in the truck as possible without damaging them. When we unpacked the truck in ABQ, NM there were NO broken or damaged items NONE! These guy are fabulous only wish they would have been here in ABQ to unload the truck. The guys we used here in ABQ were satisfactory but, no where near the same professionalism of JOG. Suggestion you look no further for a local mover, or if you need men to load or unload a truck you positively cannot go wrong using JOG. They ARE the best in Grand Junction, CO. We highly recommend them!! Would give them SIX stars if available. Tried to change "old" to unload but YELP would not correct it when I went in to edit. DO NOT, I'LL SAY AGAIN DO NOT use Jomas Gibson & his movers!! He is a con and will say ANYTHING to get your business. He and his boys broke my dining room table by placing another heavy table on top. When I asked for him to pay for the damage he said, "no I can't do that as that would come out of my pocket as "my company insurance is my personal bank account". I marked "FRAGILE" clearly on boxes and asked him and his boys to be extremely careful w/these boxes and sure enough they ignored my request and did the opposite. I am NOT making this stuff up!!! My antique China ( discontinued pattern w/gorgeous gold rim) came back broken. The China had been packed by professional movers in boxes, so all they had to do was care for 4 large boxes marked "FRAGILE". Bottomline, these boys are not "professional" and instead turned FRAGILE boxes upside down and loaded tons of weight on top! I'd be happy to share pictures as I want readers to know the extent of the misfortune I was left with after paying these boys close to $1K. I will contact YELP and see how I can do this. Oh, almost forgot...he placed his billing notebook on top of my silver dollar, one that I found in the Virgin Islands 40 years ago - what a keep sake & what a memory! He had the nerve to deny doing it even though all the evidence pointed towards him. Trust me, the man has no morals and no scruples. Choose another moving company. You won't regret it!! read more
