It was deceptively busy as there was a family of three couples and seven kids plus five couples and…read morea table of four. There was only one waitress snd one pizza maker and they were flat out. Another fellow rolled up later on...not quite sure what he did. Many were waiting on their meals when we arrived at 7:25pm so we resigned ourselves to a wait as well. The waitress predicted 30 mins but it ended up 25 mins. There was one couple who walked out. Not sure if they had waited longer. However, it was well worth the wait. Pizzas were good and the other meals at the other tables looked OK too.

Really good Italian food, couldn't fault any of it…read more The Pizzas' bases were thin not too crispy and the ingredients were cooked well. The smoky flavour in the crust also kicks in, just a delight! The Carbonara Pasta was rich but not sickening and comforting as it should be. If you were after a creamy Pasta this is the one. If you were after a tomato base one, the Gamberi is fresh from the sea just with a hint of chilli. Overall, the pasta is cooked to the texture that would please most diners and well seasoned. More importantly, it is easy to notice that the chef plated it with care and finesse which indicates pride in serving the dish! Conclusion Great local restaurant, people of the North West, you don't have to travel far saving you time, toll and money as the quality is on par if not better than highly rated Italian restaurants such as Criniti's and Jamie's.

George's pizza serves a lot more than pizza, including pasta and other Italian standards. In fact…read morethe best item we had was the chicken Caesar salad, although I say that with qualifications. The chicken was actually quite tough, and the salad would have been better without it. But the bacon-like meat was good, the dressing was excellent, and the lettuce was nice and crisp. I'm a fan of many styles of pizza, from thin crust to deep dish, New York style to Chicago style. George's pizza isn't really any of those. The crust is thicker than thin, and is a bit too tough and chewy. The result varies depending upon the pizza you order. In the case of pepperoni, it seemed like it was a frozen pizza, and was really not very good. But on the generously topped Mediterranean pizza (a veggie option) it worked fine, because the whole thing seemed more like a vegetable tart than a pizza. It's a quick serve concept where you order at a counter and they deliver to your table, but even so the water and menu service was friendly and attentive.

Great local family restaurant located on the exterior of a neighborhood mall. Takeaway available,…read morebut an extensive entree selection is available as an alternative to pizza. Pizzas range from standard to exotic and they are delicious. Tonight I skipped pizza and had the Tortellini a la Crema, which had a rich and delicate cream sauce with a light touch of Garlic and fresh parmesan cheese grated on top and melted into the sauce. Service was very warm and prompt. Everyone, from the owner and separately, his wife, through to the wait staff all asked how my meal was and were genuinely engaged. The owner, George, was constantly in motion, in the kitchen, at the counter, wiping down tables and engaging guests. He is a very effective manager and keeps thing running smoothly. On top of all that, he brings each child a small ball of dough and teaches them how to twirl it aka "throwing a pie". What a class act! While the table's orders are cooking, they bring the kids small rolling pins to roll out their dough. This is a great family dining restaurant, yet as a single diner I didn't feel like I was in a daycare center. This establishment really captures the spirit of dining experiences that have sadly disappeared elsewhere. The food is excellent, the experience fantastic and the ambiance incredible. I would and will recommend this restaurant without hesitation
