I highly recommend!

I am writing this review to detail an ongoing issue regarding Crunch Fitness in Casselberry…read moreinvolving unauthorized charges, misleading cancellation advice, and unhelpful customer service. Months ago, when I only had three payments remaining on my personal training contract, I expressed that I did not want to continue because I had initially signed up for group personal training sessions with a friend, but missed a month due to unexpected dilemmas while my friend continued without me. Rather than informing me of the proper protocol to speak with a manager to cancel early, my trainer, Keana, only presented the option to freeze billing and handed me off to a newly hired trainer, Isabella (name showed up as Isabelle on the app/emails) . After the freeze lifted, I experienced ongoing scheduling challenges with Isabella. Once we finally agreed upon a date, I went into the club on August 17th to speak directly with the manager, Joey, to officially cancel my entire Personal Training Membership. Originally, Isabella told me I had one final payment scheduled to be deducted on August 28th. However, when I reached out to her on August 20th insisting that Joey call me back to follow up, she completely changed her script and claimed I could come in to sign the cancellation paperwork that day. Because of my schedule, I was unable to come in until Friday, August 21st, around the time of my cancelled session. Despite my in-person cancellation request with management on August 17th, an unauthorized $85 charge was processed anyway for an August 21st training session, which was kept on the schedule and improperly marked as complete. When I posted about this on Google, the business responded publicly by hiding behind a standard 24-hour session cancellation policy--completely ignoring that I had cancelled the entire membership in person days prior. Following their public response telling me to call the club, I called and spoke with Assistant Manager Gabby. After I explained the discrepancy, she remained silent on the phone and offered no solution. I am demanding written confirmation that my Personal Training Membership is fully cancelled with no further charges, as well as an immediate $85 refund for the unauthorized session charge. Prospective members should be extremely cautious of the administrative runaround and improper billing practices here.
