So this was actually the first place I checked out when the new station opened.
As usually I kicked things off with a flat white to continue my usual 'compare all of the flat whites in birmingham' mission.
I was greeted by a chirpy young woman who was very pleasant and offered me the loyalty card. I have since been back today and had another flat white (sans syrup - they do charge extra-benugo don't) and the pastrami and gherkins sandwich, otherwise referred to as the New Yorker.
Now at £4.00 it's cheaper than its surrounding competition (except M&S) and so far a strong winner because it has GHERKINS!!
The meat is paper thing as it should be and its rye bread.
The flat white isn't the best but certainly not the worst and slightly cheaper than elsewhere at 2.25.
What wins it for me is so far the great customer service and yeah I know it's only just opened and everyone will be on there best behaviour but it has not been the case for some of the other nearby businesses.
It seems quieter than some, tucked away in the corner but there is plenty of seating and please try the sandwich!! read more
