This is way off the beaten path and can't be seen from the street. It's in the back end of a strip mall and has no street view. For a sports bar every one was talking food so I asked for the best breakfast place in town and I was totally miss lead by the bar tender who gave me false information about the restaurant where he also works. Breakfast was a let down and nothing like he stated so I was disappointed when I could have went elsewhere like planed.

Atmosphere is younger crowd, waitstaff are definitely college girls with some old man that I can assume was the owner would pop back behind the bar often. Plenty of tv's for sports games also have a pool table and darts. I'd say it's your "Average Wisconsin bar". We ordered a Bloody Mary with Tito's & Virgin Mary. However, we were informed that they pre-make their mix with rail vodka. I asked if there was a possibility to make one separately and again was told they premade the mix. I asked if it was possible to get a Virgin Mary, she said yes. They were the BLANDEST lackluster tomato juice drinks I've ever had. They both were garnished with a damn near frozen beef stick, sad spear of pickle, soggy mushroom, Peperoncino and olive. The actual Bloody Mary had very little (if ant) vodka but did come with have a chaser. We ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza and a chicken club. I was informed that I couldn't substitute or change my fries to cheese curds (even though there are other items listed for up charge sides on the menu) so I went with fries. It was a subpar frozen pizza, the chicken is a frozen bought flattened piece of meat on some limp lettuce & the driest bacon I've ever had (McDonald's bacon is better). The fries were not seasoned and had to ask twice for ketchup. We also ordered another Bloody Mary but asked if it could be made separately with Tito's or Grey Goose (both of which they have on hand). Same response as previously "it's premade mix with rail vodka" so we asked for an additional shot. The 20somethjng chic brought us the drink, abruptly put it on the table and walked away. No interaction, no garnish & no chaser! We weren't asked how everything was, had to flag down the staff for the check. We stated that she can take the second Bloody Mary off as it wasn't good. She immediately popped off with "I can't do that, you special ordered it". I asked her if the bartender was incompetent of making a Bloody Mary & that's why they did premade drinks she said it wasn't me that made it. Now she was visibly defensive, had a horrible disposition. I pointed out we didn't want to pay for the drink as it wasn't the same as the first. No garnishes & no chaser, why would we pay MORE for it when we got less. She stated she didn't understand where we were coming from. Left and returned with a cup of garnishes & a chaser and said "there! Now you have everything." This is NOT customer service, this is NOT rectifying a situation. I would NEVER step foot back in this establishment.

This was our 4th stop from the cluster of bars on the area. 2 from our group sat at the bar and waiting to order drinks, 3 stood behind them, and the 4 of us went to the restroom. 10 minutes we waited for our drink order. The bartender took orders from people to that left of us, to the right of us, behind us. What? Are we invisible? 5 minutes more and the bartender smiled at us then headed our way. We had flashed cash money, this was the only reason why she came. Another bartender pulled her into a room. No one came to get our drink orders. We walked out quietly. Were we too rowdy? Should we not have came? Were we not wanted? Is it because of our skin / hair color? Whatever it was, our money wasn't good here. Steve-O's, know that we spent over $500 in the surrounding bars that evening. A third of that was for tips. We will never come here again.

The owners, Mary and Kevin, are proud of what their tavern has to offer: billiards, darts, great drinks, a true neighborhood bar atmosphere, big-screen TV's to watch the Packers (or *cough cough* Vikings), and other electronic sports gaming. They even have an Internet-based jukebox, so you're no longer locked into listening to a crappy selection of either drowning-my-sorrows country or headache-inducing heavy metal. Drinks are always cold, the people friendly, and there are plenty of snacks to choose from for soaking up the suds during a long night's pub crawl. They have new dart boards that allow players to go up against other patrons from anywhere in the world who are also logged in, so if you think you're good enough, you can do your best live against British piss-heads showing off for their shagging twinkle. How freakin' cool is that? Post Road also is active in the local tavern league scene including 9-ball, billiards, 301- and cricket, and more. If you need a place to go hang out in Plover, few other bars offer the amenities that Post Road does. If you want to escape the crazy college scene of downtown 'Point, you'd be hard pressed not to find something to really like here.

The mushrooms were a mystery to us and we felt they should have been listed as mushroom chips, because instead of being slices they were super thin (more like shaved) so you didn't get any mushroom flavor, it was just batter flavor. The clam chowder soup was insanely bland, no amount of salt, pepper or crackers could save it. The wrap was the best thing we ordered; very delicious. The shrimp fry was just so-so, as the shrimp were small and the batter was thick so there again the batter overwhelmed what it was covering and I ended up peeling most of the batter off just to taste the shrimp. Will we go back again? Probably not.
