This is the first negative review that I have ever written but, I feel that my experience was so…read moredisappointing that it is necessary. I went to Dr. Baker because I was recommended to see an ophthalmologist by my PCP and ENT due to continued pressure behind and around my eye causing loss of vision. Dr. Baker had zero interest in what I was telling him and kept telling me that vision loss is normal for "someone my age". I am 56 and have had lasik surgery (oh so old!!!!). He also told me that "someone my age" will eventually have cataract surgery in the future and the vision would be corrected at that time. My vision was fine until i had acute sinus infections and two sinus surgeries in the previous 6 months. He dismissed me and was ready to leave the office when I stopped him and asked about my vision. He quickly typed up a prescription for reading glasses and left the room. I had the glasses made (by a very reputable company) with the prescription he wrote. I cannot see out of the glasses at all! I tried to get used to them and got splitting headaches. I now have an appointment with another doctor to be re-examined. I would not recommend that anyone who wants a doctor who actually cares that that eyes are taken care of well to go to Dr. Baker.

We tried to explain our vision concerns but, felt she was rushing the appointment. When we mentioned that my wife couldn't drive with here current vision condition, Dr. Rath abruptly said, " you can drive with one eye". We felt there was no empathy or compassion in our short appointment. Maybe she was having a bad day however, we were the first appointment of the day. I wouldn't recommend Pamela for any retina issues. Instead, I would recommend a Google search. You'd have just as much luck .
