So I asked yelp assistant for a place where I could sit with my laptop and have tea or coffee but also good sandwiches and fresh snacks. This place popped up as the top recommendation and I have to say it has been one of the best uses of AI so far. Now parking was AWFUL. Not gonna lie. Someone said it was easy but not for me. I'm in a rental car in a foreign city. I find a parallel spot and signal to start parking until some guy gets right on my butt and starts honking and giving me the finger until I had to leave and circle. I had to repeat this TWICE due to the aggressive drivers- thanks, York. But once I got parked and made sure it was bye somewhere illegal the little shop was EXACTLY the vibe I was looking for. That's really it just the right vibe. I had a medium London fog latte (they have allllll the non-dairy options for us lactose strugglers) and a salmon blt. EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Delicious, light, sorta healthy. The latte was amazing- so much that I bought a second! I wouldn't have left except I had to do a conference call. The latte was real with bits of lavender in there the perfect not too sweet touch, tea steeped to actually give you the London fog flavor not just the flavor of hot milk. Perfection. I just wish it had been even more cold and rainy outside and maybe I had an even bigger fluffy chair by the window and no emails. :) But seriously so productive. I enjoyed the non-distracting but regular hubbub of unique and interesting people going by about their day. Just so nice. Such I gem I never would have known about.
