We got several quotes for the large haul weed removal and Nick was the lowest and most reasonable by far. He worked with us on ways to keep the cost down but still get the end result we wanted. In the end he did an amazing job removing every single weed and dead plant, sprucing up our trees and edging our lawn. We wound up hiring him to plant a few additional flowers in our front yard as well, and not only did he do that with as much care and planning as he possibly could, but when an irrigation line wound up getting nicked in the process, he came back and fixed it the very next day with no fuss or extra charge. Unreliable and Overpriced - Avoid Mariano's Landscape…read more I hired Mariano's Landscape (based in Moreno Valley) in December 2024 to landscape my backyard. From the start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Their services are expensive, and I expected quality work. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The owner, Gabriel Mariano, planted diseased trees and assured me they would recover in warmer weather or be replaced. Months later--after numerous phone calls and site visits--nothing has been done. Communication has been all talk, with no follow-through. The concrete patio was another major issue. It was poured with a weak sand-and-cement mix that lacked any gravel or aggregate. I raised concerns, and they promised a quality control inspection would visit the job-site. No one ever came and Gabriel could not provide the name or license number of the concrete subcontractor they used. Bottom line: once they're paid, they disappear. They don't stand behind their work or resolve problems. I do not recommend Mariano's Landscape. The pictures speak for themselves.

We hired them to extend our driveway, make a walk path to our backyard, add steps to the front of our home, and put concrete tree and turf in our backyard. The only downside was the concrete work done in the front of our home, they informed us there is no warranty on concrete during the quoting process because concrete does crack, we just didn't anticipate it happening within a couple months of the work being done. The company did offer to do crack filler for us which helped a bit but doesn't completely remove it. I highly recommended this team because of their customer service and work ethic. They also had very good pricing compared to most of the other vendors we quoted with.
