They took my wife's car in because she was rear ended. Every time it was scheduled to be done they would move it out several weeks the day of. After almost 2 months they told us it was actually ready. When we showed up the bumper did not align with the vehicle, There were areas on the repaired parts dented, scratched never repainted or had paint so thick it was bubbling. We spoke to the insurance adjuster who told us we shouldn't expect anything better because it was a repair not factory. When I told her that the body parts didn't even align with the vehicle and looked to be gouged in areas she said that " you should see how rough my delivery people handle parts around here". When I told her that was not my problem and not an acceptable excuse she got pissy and condescending. When I called out the fact that there was not even paint on the area where the trunk hit the body of the vehicle she stated it was better then it was prior. I politely explained to her that there was not missing paint where two body parts had collided because they're client rearrended my wife. I should have known they were going to be a problem because immediately they said that my wife could pick up the rental car on monday despite the accident happening Saturday AM. They then said she would need to drive it in to which she pushed back because we knew damn well they would then not pay for damages caused by the trunk lid bouncing around.They took my wife's car in because she was rear ended. This review is for Schlenker Repair. Unfortunately, the repair and collision shops are both on the same listing, so check carefully what business you are reading reviews for. Schlenker Repair Service is generally a busy location and popular with many of my neighbors. I just wanted to take a moment to provide a bit about my own experience with this business. They have seemed to do a fair job overall, but I was very disappointed with the way they seem to handle tire rotation warranty. When you buy tires from Schlenker, you are advised that in order to cover tire wear warranty, you have to get the tires rotated on a regular basis (which is free). Sounds great, but you can never get them to do it while you wait, and when I set an appointment, left the vehicle there all day on Friday, I was told that they weren't going to be able to get to it on Saturday either until I raised a pretty good stink. Come on... I know you got paid already.. but if you say I have to get the tires rotated, do it quickly please. The tires I have now are from Discount Tires. They don't offer any repair services, but you feel like you are in a Daytona 500 race when it comes to rotating (and balancing for free). read more

They misdiagnosed my trucks issues and quoted a price of approx $900 for a new clutch. I got a second opinion and all I needed was a master cylinder that cost $300 (my clutch is assisted by the master cylinder). I'm hesitant to give them another chance. Not happy with this company or their staff! After taking my car there to get work done they had to take it across the street to get a new tire and alignment. After getting my car back a week later there was a tire pressure reading problem. So I took back and was told there was nail in another tire they had to fix which was BS!! Got it back after another week only to have the same issue. It finally took my boyfriend taking my car to his friend's to find out they put the wrong size tire on it! So he took my car back told them what was wrong. So I had to drop it off again it took them another 4 days to finally get my car! In the meantime no one ever called me to give me updates I had to call them each and every time. No one apologized to me for their obvious lack of knowledge and screw up or the inconvenience to me of not having my car for almost 3 weeks! So next time I or anyone else I know needs body work or tire work done I'll make to avoid any Joe Hudson especially the one in Rockledge! read more

Incompetence, arrogance and apathy all rolled into one. Daughter had an accident and this company towed the car back to their yard. Damage to car as result of accident $375, damaged caused by tow driver $400 (reason why it had to be towed) and the tow fee, $490. Accident happened on a Friday, couldn't contact them until Monday. Upon contacting we asked them if they could replace the tire (with me paying) so we could get the car out of their yard. Company advised that they would continue to charge us $22.50 per day until the car was fixed but couldn't tell us when they could replace the tire. They finally agreed to install spare after I threatened to call AAA to come in and do the work. When I was told the final bill I asked for a a break down of the charges, they refused and said that I must pay the bill in cash by 5pm to get the datails. Forced to drive 80 miles to pay bill. Lou Schlenker the called next day after I advised shop manager that I had to replace all the tires (awd car, can't replace just one) and that damaged to tire was caused by tow driver not the accident. Complained to Lou about amount of bill,the tires and how I was treated. Said he couldn't help me on the tires, not their fault, He agreed to reimburse me $50 for the gate fee and then proceeded to lecture me about maintaining full coverage insurance so I wouldn't have to pay tow fees. Got news for ya Lou, I save $900 a year by maintaining just liability insurance ON JUST ONE of my four cars, but that doesn't preclude me from complaining about your tow bill and how I was treated. Fast forward one week. Receive legal notice from company stating they have placed a lien on my car for the amount of the bill that I paid. What the hell. I just wanted to get past this horrible experience. read more

My father in law was hit from behind in his car. This unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest car shop whom my father in law trusted told the Insurance company his car was not fixable. That prompted the insurance company to deny any and all claim to the car. We called the shop up and politely asked for the paperwork they sent over to the insurance company which is the reason they denied responsibility and the mechanic refused to provide us with anything. When asked for the Managers name and number to speak to them they refused. As they did when we asked for a corporate name and number as well. After digging around and locating a corporate number I spoke to the Regional Manager Bob Hath who promised he would call me back but once again was just as sleazy as the mechanic and after a message stating if I did not hear back by the close of business day I would be calling the person above him, instead of a respectful professional call back I get a message stating "I can't help you" We now have an attorney involved but I am extremely disappointed that people have no decency. If you say something stand behind it. We will NEVER return to this shop and hope that others don't fall into their same fake and false hopes that they are honest because they are anything but that. read more

Needed to have a screw removed from the front tire of my car and then patched. Was told by the Schlenker employee who looked at the tire, that a patch could only be placed for holes in the very center of the tread. Obviously that was an absolute lie, his was an attempt to manipulate a woman into buying a set of tires. Took the car to another tire shop where the screw was removed, the hole patched, and then was not even charged a penny for the service. Months later the patch is holding up perfectly. The worst experience ever! I paid thousands of dollars to get treated like an unvalued customer. All communications were initiated by me all except for one phone call to tell me my car would not be ready on time. We were told that it would take 3 weeks to complete all required work. Well it took approximately 4 weeks. My car sat for the 1st week with no work being completed. Once I called for an update after seeing no work had commenced then I was told that additional work was required. The original quote I received from them was given by a man that no longer works for them and instead of saying we need to do another quote and then you can determine if you would like to get your car painted and repaired here, they took my money. After getting my car back I noticed my driver's side view mirror was changed out, there were dents in the chrome, and some other issues.We sat down with the owner and told him about the issues. He assured us he would get to the bottom of things and after looking at the original quote and the new quote he told us they made no money on the job and we all know that was garbage no one works for free and the parts nor the paint equaled up to the amount we paid. After speaking with his staff he told us that he was not replacing the mirror. Even though it was clear this is not my mirror because it is a different color and today 5-16-16 I had work done at the dealership were I purchased my car and they said that is not my mirror and it did not come in my car. read more
