Needless to say, I was on Yelp finding someone else for a 2nd opinion. Jennifer at Metz called me and messaged me right away to view video footage and get something scheduled. I was able to call, text, and email her as often or as little as I needed to and ALWAYS received a response. The communication was exceptional from start to finish. Someone came out that same week to take a look and give out a timely estimate. This company does offer financing, although we did not use it. The quote was less than half of what the other company had quoted us. We got a straight forward diagnosis, with honest pricing, and reliable service. The team came out on the day they were scheduled at the time they were scheduled. They were able to complete our project in only 2 days. Extremely efficient, and walked my husband through what they were doing and put us at ease with what still needed to be done. The pictures and reviews from myself and everyone else speaks for themselves. While I hope to never need more restorative services on my property (LOL), if I ever did, I would 10,000% use Metz again. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs it. Absolutely amazing!

They unclogged the line and then ran the camera through the line. Luigi and I were both very surprised to see that the last company that was out here in January 2021 for the same problems broke off part of their snake. And there is 30 ft of snake in my drain. Luigi gave me an estimate for digging up the driveway to retrieve the piece of snake. The estimate I felt was very fair, he included the work he had done that day into the estimate. I feel this is a very good company to call when you have a plumbing problem. Pat D

I hired McVay to replace my sewer lateral and house trap. During a subsequent plumbing project,…read moreanother licensed plumbing company discovered several serious installation defects, including a house trap pitched backward, an improperly configured pipe connection, and a PVC joint that hadn't been properly bonded. Approximately 10 feet of piping was retaining raw sewage. The findings were professionally documented with measurements, photographs, and video. The defective installation had to be removed and replaced. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistakes themselves, but McVay's response. I contacted them immediately, but it took several days to receive a callback. With 50 feet of open trench inside my home, waiting indefinitely wasn't an option, so the other company documented the problems and completed the repairs. When presented with the evidence, McVay denied warranty coverage because they hadn't inspected the work themselves, relying instead on a county inspection that had previously approved the installation. Despite the detailed documentation, there was no offer to visit, meaningfully investigate, or even express concern. I wasn't seeking compensation. The repairs were completed at no additional cost to me. I simply expected some accountability. **Mistakes happen. How a company handles them says everything about its integrity.** I would never hire McVay again.

This time it bit me right in the butt or should I say pocket book. When I asked Justin if he had ever replaced a shutoff valve before he answered "oh yea, many times" So I let him proceed with the job. After several hours of watching him get very frustrated trying to piece back the pipes he already cut I became concerned. He was struggling and pulling on the pipes and I was, and still am, worried that there will be future leaks elsewhere. After he figured out how to put it all back together I could not believe my eyes. What was once a very neat area of piping now looks like a hair scramble of copper pipes. There are many angles and turns which look to me as being a very unprofessional job. He was definitely relieved that there were no leaks. After him being here for 4 hours he hands me the bill which I could not believe. $797.00 dollars!!! To fix a shut off valve in my laundry room. When I questioned him he stated he was here for 4 hours at $130 per hour and that included the parts. When I mentioned how displeased I was with the bill he didn't blink an eye. Shame on me for not asking for an estimate before allowing him to start the job, I never thought he would take advantage of us and charge that much. Now my drywall is cracked and the area that once looked very nice now looks horrible. I would not recommend Simonic plumbing to anyone due to the workmanship and outright gouging of the charges.

I'm happy to share a positive service review for Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating…read more(https://www.facebook.com/Noaharkplumbing/, 724-683-4739). I have owned my home for fifteen years now, and I've always had issues with my kitchen sink draining slowly from time-to-time. Several different plumbers have taken a look, and they've each offered a solution - snaking, reconfiguring the under-sink plumbing, even installing a very expensive stent. None of the previous plumbers took the time or had the ability to correctly diagnose and completely repair the problem - until Ryan, Michelle, and Larry from Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating. When I called Ryan, he responded promptly and put me on the schedule right away. When he was unable to resolve the problem with the equipment that he had on hand, he came out the next day with what was needed. After working diligently, he was not satisfied with the results, so he took the time and applied his expertise to actually diagnose the problem. It turns out that the previous owners hadn't connected the kitchen drain to the sewer line when they converted from septic to city sewage! It was still connected to a poorly draining greywater line. Because my house sits on a slab (no basement, no crawlspace) and because I didn't want to jackhammer up the kitchen floor, Ryan put a lot of effort into identifying the best way to get this challenging job done. Despite the complications, the Noah's Ark team were always polite, professional, and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that the job would be done correctly at an affordable cost to me. In one day's time, they were able to excavate in my yard as needed to connect my kitchen drain into the public sewer system, and I now have a fully functional kitchen sink drain that should never need more work beyond routine maintenance. Because they did not have to excavate as much as originally estimated, they actually charged me LESS than the original estimate! That's honesty! Did I mention that Noah's Ark guarantees their work for as long as I own my home!? When was the last time you heard that sort of guarantee!? In the process of this project, Ryan also unclogged my laundry room floor drain, and he was ready to re-route it if needed - again exploring intelligent alternatives to excavating through my home's floor. Fortunately, he and Michelle got the job done without having to reconfigure any plumbing. Despite a delay on another client's project, they still made it out to my home on the day they promised, even though it meant working into the evening. The Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating team are exceptional. They respond to calls, book appointments in a timely manner, and keep those appointments. The rates are affordable, and even more importantly, they take the time to correctly diagnose the problem and to implement a proper (and guaranteed) solution. Ryan took the time to involve me in the process so that I would understand the problem(s) and the options for remedying them. I greatly appreciated his honesty and respectfulness. I would enthusiastically recommend Noah's Ark to family and friends, knowing that they could depend on the crew to do a great job. Note: I am not related to Noah's Ark Plumbing & Excavating in any way, nor did I know them prior to hiring them for this project. I'm just a very satisfied customer. After four months of getting a run around I asked to be able to get my own plumbing co. I contacted Krupp Whitney and they couldn't be anymore accommodating to my situation. They responded immediately and gave me a fair assessment of the job. There were many unknowns due to the extent of damage to the old crock sewer line from the house to the street. They were able to line part of the sewer which eliminated having to dig up my sidewalk but the concrete street and the front yard had to be excavated. They kept me well informed as things progressed. All the workers were very skilled and professional and answered any questions that I had. It became apparent that there were many problems due to the age of the line (over 100yrs.) I observed the whole process and was able to see where the problems were. The equipment, tools and machinery were state of art.
