I reached out to Jody to see about having a windshield replacement for our RAV4. We had checked most places online and they were charging nearly $400 for a new windshield so when we saw she may be able to fix the crack, she advised us to bring it in for them to look at it. Glad I found Jody! I was prepared to replace my windshield after it was cracked. Don't believe it when you read cracks are not repairable if they are too large. I watched the line grow...only to learn repairs are possible and leave your factory sealed windshield in place! Saved money- less than $100 and will pass inspection. If you plan to pay by card note there is a $3 charge to cover fees. This is a small business so it's nice to see they don't raise rates on everyone to cover them. Go to Jody!! A had a huge crack in my windshield caused by a rock. The car dealership told me I'd fail inspection and need to replace my windshield. They told me to call safelight. Top notch experience! I'm pretty detail-oriented and don't accept laissez-faire work. I had a 3/8" to 1/2" stone bullseye on my windshield. The damage had not yet started to spiderweb/further crack. Its location was blocked by the rear view mirror when viewed from the driver's seat. Given the complexity of the electronics in my foreign vehicle's mirror and location, I opted to attempt a repair before replacement. Glad I found Jody and Dale! Such a great and welcoming experience from a husband and wife team. Jody did the admin and chit chat while Dale meticulously made the repair. His work included placing a protective mat on the hood, ensuring I was happy with the repair, and gently wiping everything down to include a portion of the hood with a lint-free cloth when complete. Came in with a small crack that went in multiple directions, in the bottom passenger corner of my windshield. Progressive wanted me to go to safelite and get a full replacement windshield for $430+, they would not pay a dime. Jody was able speak to progressive for me, get them to pay part of the cost of repair, and I only ended up with $30 out of pocket. A HUGE deal with a new baby on the way in 9 weeks! Received same day service from the team of Jody and Dale. Safelite told me that I had to replace the windshield and pay a $500 deductible as quoted by my insurance company. My crack was a little bigger than a dollar so Safelite said they won't fix it but could replace the windshield. I am glad that I found Jody's Windshield on Yelp. After a trip to Dc this past weekend this morning I noticed a crack forming on my windshield. This was my first experience with this ever. I have nothing bad to say about my experience! This homegrown couple is amazing! I was in and out in about 35 mins. They were so friendly and so amazing! Don't be alarmed when you pull up to a private residence (I was a little alarmed and thought I was in the wrong place). I was immediately greeted and it was nonstop chatting and love from that moment! Their dog Luckily (hope I spelled that right) decided I was her new best friend and immediately took a spot on my lap! While your work is being done, you can watch TV, sit and chat with Jody, or peruse the most amazing collectibles. She says it's her history. I say, WOW!
