I took my SUV there for a small rock chip repair. I asked how much the service would be when she called me up to pay. I was told 60.00. I paid her on my bank card and asked for my receipt. She said it would be given to me after the service was completed. When my SUV was ready they gave me my keys and receipt and it was for 172.98. I went and looked at what they did and there was no difference. I ended up taking it to Jody's Windshield Repair in Virginia Beach and they properly serviced my windshield. They couldn't believe what Safelite did (which was nothing he said) and informed me they get so many cars brought to them for the same type issue I had at this Safelite. I also called Safelite back to speak with the manager which Anderson answered the phone and he wouldn't give me his last name and said they have no general or regional manager that I could talk to and he was so sorry. If I could give this company a zero I would. I took Anderson my receipt from Jody's and informed him I'll see them in court to get my money back. They didn't care at all which is really a horrible business practice. I need to know who the general or regional manager is for this Safelite since it's such a big secret.

American Auto Glass came and replaced the windshield and also left us 2 scratches on the vehicle body. One was 3 inches long and down to the metal. The tech didn't say anything, but rather just left it and I guess hoped we wouldn't notice. They have since been the most unprofessional company we've dealt with in a long time and continuously giving us the runaround. The guy we have been corresponding won't even provide us with his name. #sketchy He also stated he was just the 3rd party and we should be coordinating the fix (for his mistake) with his un-reachable paint guy. However, when it came time to perform the work, he and his crew were unwilling to proceed. They required full payment upfront (over $10,000), quoted what we felt was an unfair price--which we were still willing to pay--and then ultimately walked off the job without even attempting to remove the two glass pieces onsite. We ended up hiring another company that completed the work efficiently and professionally, and their quote was nearly half the cost.
