We purchased our current home in 2020. It was the second time we had moved into Durham after 16…read moreyears in another community. This 1988 mid-century modern home came with an inground pool which had been installed in 2006. The electric pool heater & the pump required replacement. Upon receiving the new equipment, we asked around for references for an Electrician to set things up. We consulted an Electrician we had used in the past, Bob Islieb, who was no longer doing projects like ours who recommended Connect Electric of Durham run by Mike McKenna. Mike arrived in a couple of days after my call and broke the news that the existing buried power line was inadequate to support our new pool equipment. Mike promptly assessed the job and provided a plan and estimate for the project which included ~ 150' excavation with conduit, cabling, new switches, breaker boxes and full equipment set up. Mike assigned Charlie Sass and a helper for the set up which required a couple of visits. These folks did an outstanding job for a reasonable price and prompt schedule. I highly recommended Connect Electric as they will be our "go to" guys for future electrical issues.
