I've been in places that do other services (waxes, nails) and it ends up being noisy while you're getting a massage - that's the opposite of relaxing. Katy did my massage and she did a great job. Asked all the questions up front and then allowed me to quietly enjoy the massage with a little music (yes, I've had massage therapists that keep talking. Again, that's not relaxing). Given how close this is to my house and how much I enjoyed it, I will definitely be back. Treat yourself and try them out too.

When I first saw her, I still had two drains in and felt very vulnerable, but she was incredibly professional, gentle, and reassuring. Her practice is clean, comfortable, and calming. She wore gloves to ensure my incisions were protected from any potential risk, which made me feel even more at ease. After that first session, I immediately booked the series of five. I went twice a week for two weeks, then once during the final week. After not seeing her for about a week and a half, I reached out again and invested in five more sessions. The massages are absolutely worth it. I feel more comfortable, less swollen, and I can truly see the progress in my body. I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone going through the post-op recovery process. She has been an incredibly important part of my healing. My surgeon didn't think the massages were all that important at first and even talked me out of them, but I genuinely believe some surgeons don't realize how much of a difference they make. I figured for $70 for 1 hour, it's worth a try. It's a no-frills establishment, but very zen. Soft music, oil diffusers and quiet. I was put into a room and asked to undress. Lisa, an Asian woman, came in and proceeded to give me a "towel on" rub down to loosen up the tons of pent up lactic acid in my body. That lasted about 10 mins. For a tiny woman, she had amazingly strong hands! Then off came the towel and I was in massage oil heaven! She asked if she was being too hard on me (NO!!) and told me that I had "too much stress" in my shoulder area and hips. She focused on that pain I had, and proceeded to give me pretty much, the BEST full body massage I've ever had! She ended with hot stones and a wonderful head and facial massage. I could feel my blood flowing and all the bad energy leaving through my finger tips and toes. I rested for a bit, got dressed and she gave me water telling me to hydrate. No language barrier there. I can't say enough how amazing this massage was and that shoulder pain... GONE!!!

I had hoped to get relief then start on my day. Here and their own site says they open at 9am, they did not open at 9am. The fliers out front also had another different time on them. I woman I had identified herself as "Tina". She said they drive in from New York and hit traffic. I saw more than three different price sets for the same service between: their website, the board at the front door, and the fliers in the dispenser on the front window. According to their own website being a first-time customer I should have gotten an hour for $50.00. She charged me $65.00 plus tax equaling $70.00. Then I was pressured into giving a higher tip after giving a tip. If they have changed their hours and prices, they need to get it all uniform between all their different platforms. No one likes to show up and have a business not be open when they say they'll be open but to be charged higher price than is listed on multiple places is an insult. If anything she should have given me a discount based on the fact she knew I had called and was waiting there for awhile for them to open. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. I'll update if anything changes.
