The lights on the pump were so dim I could not see the price of the gas, how much gas I had pumped, or what my cost was. I didn't feel comfortable with that so I stopped after a minute or so. Asked for a receipt but nothing came out so I went inside to get it. I was passing through the area so I didn't look at my receipt until I got home. I had been charged $2.92 a gallon. I have written Speedway corporate and called as well. Actually received an email back from Speedway with a case number. Have tried to contact them back to get an update but have not received any responses.

Made it a bit more chaotic but did not disrupt my getting gas and bottle water for inside the store. Gas of course is self serve and at fairly good price compared to Charlotte. When I went in, the restroom were nice and clean and looked like they had just been cleaned. Picked up my bottled water and checked out with very friendly staff. After about a minute, it would ask for my pin and then say my transaction was cancelled. An employee was near me changing the trash, so I asked if he could help. He was very rude and seemed annoyed that I had targeted him for help. He merely reread what the screen said impatiently. I let him know I could read, and he huffed and walked away. I went inside to pay instead and the lady at the counter was sweet and joyful! I paid and pumped quickly. So, not sure what's up with their machines at the pump, but it cancelled several transactions before reading an error. I would pay inside instead.
