I must let you know that this is a great pub It's been…read morearound for generations even though the current generation is a great owner and has made it better than ever the best is yet to come The bar staff is second to none even though the cool Bono look alike would make Bono seem like a giant among men. His wit is lightening fast which helps as he reaches for the higher shelves The Guinness is superb and worth the visit alone having been thoughtfully managed with temperature and excellent maintenance by professionals There is no pub in Dublin or Dun Laoghaire that I want to spend in more than this pub Some call if "the old man bar" because young and old alike feel welcome there If you like fun the owner encourages all singers good and bad to belt one out so don't be shy even if you don't know all the words. I highly recommend you go there have a pint and a good laugh. I'll probably see you there the next trip I'm home from Florida to visit my family!!!
